Before you start
This manual explains how to use the CDJ-3000 with Beatport
Streaming. In addition to this manual, please also read the CDJ-3000
Instruction Manual and other relevant manuals.

About Beatport Streaming
To use the Beatport Streaming service with the CDJ-3000, you'll need
a relevant Beatport subscription. For details on services and regions of
availability, visit the Beatport website.

Supported DJ equipment
Beatport Streaming supports the CDJ-3000 with firmware ver. 3.00 or
later. If you're using an earlier firmare version, please install the latest
version.

Internet speed
The time needed for library synchronization and track loading varies
greatly depending on the strength of your internet connection.
A internet speed of 20 Mbps or higher is recommended for loading
tracks.

Beatport Streaming
Using the multi player
To use Beatport Streaming on the multi player, connect the PRO DJ
LINK network to the internet and use a USB storage device or SD
memory card.
Note
•To use multiple PRO DJ LINK networks in a large place (such as a festival with
different stages), use a network router for each PRO DJ LINK network and divide
the area into different zones.

Checking the internet connection
To connect to Beatport Streaming, the internet icon must be displayed
on the [SOURCE] screen as shown below.
If the internet connection is shown as , Beatport Streaming can't be
accessed. In this case, check the internet connection.

Logging in to Beatport Streaming
1 Insert a USB storage device or SD memory card to the multi player.
2 Select Beatport Streaming on the [SOURCE] screen, then touch
[LOG IN] in the information area.
3 Log in with your Beatport Streaming account.
Enter your user name and password.

Once you've logged in, the [SOURCE] screen will change to display your user
name.
To log out of Beatport Streaming
To log out of Beatport Streaming, touch [LOG OUT] in the information
area of the [SOURCE] screen.

Making Beatport Streaming tracks playable
1 Press the [SOURCE] button.
The device connected to the multi player is displayed on the source screen.
2 Select the logged-in user name.
The browse screen is displayed.

3 Select a track via the browse screen.
You can use Beatport tracks via the browse screen.
•The time it takes to load a track depends on the internet speed. The loading
progress is displayed at the bottom of the screen.

•When using Beatport Streaming tracks, Cue and Hot Cue functions are available
only within the currently loaded tracks.
•The following functions can't be used with Beatport Streaming because tracks
are loaded one by one from the track list.

•A track longer than 15 minutes can't be analyzed.
•Up to 4 tracks can be played at the same time with Beatport Streaming.

Using Beatport Streaming with CloudDirectPlay
With rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, you can load audio files you’ve
previously uploaded to your cloud storage onto the multi player and
play them from the unit. Also, if you upload a playlist (including
Beatport Streaming tracks) to your cloud storage, you can play the
Beatport Streaming tracks from the playlist. You'll need to log in to your
CloudDirectPlay and Beatport Streaming accounts to do this.

Monitoring the sound before loading a track from
Beatport Streaming (Touch Preview)
You can monitor the sound of a track via a supported DJ mixer before
loading it.
1 Connect the supported multi player and a Touch Preview
compatible DJ mixer (DJM-V10, etc.) via PRO DJ LINK.
2 Connect headphones to the DJ mixer.
3 Press the [LINK CUE] button on the DJ mixer.
4 Touch the [PREVIEW] waveform of the track you want to hear on
the browse screen to load it for monitoring (it won't load to the deck).
The progress bar appears and a preview-available icon appears when the
track is ready for monitoring.

5 Touch the [PREVIEW] waveform of the track you want to monitor.
You can monitor the sound from the touched point with your headphones.
•You can monitor a track even when outputting the sound of a track that's
playing on the same player.

I can't use the Beatport Streaming service.
•Check that the PRO DJ LINK network is connected to the internet.
•Use a USB storage device or SD memory card with enough free
space.
If there isn't enough free space on the USB storage device or SD
memory card, you can't use the Beatport Streaming service.
Beatport Streaming tracks aren't displayed in the track list.
•To use Beatport Streaming, you'll need a relevant subscription plan.

I can't load a track.
•Check that the track hasn't been deleted from the Beatport Streaming
service.
