  • Hello, I have reviewed the provided instructions for the BLOTZ Railway track B06-RW xxx. This document provides guidance on assembling the 6mm scale railway tracks, focusing on using etched guides, lugs, and tabs for precise alignment. The instructions also highlight the use of a sharp modeling knife and suggest using pegs or elastic bands for securing components while the glue dries. I am ready to answer any questions you have regarding the assembly process.
  • What type of glue is recommended?
What tool is needed to remove sections from the sprue?
How to align straight track sections?
6mm Railways
B06-RW-xxx
Please read these instructions fully before starting construction.
PVA or equivalent glue will be required to stick sections together.
Sand paper can be used to gently clean any joints.
A sharp modelling knife will be required to remove sections from the sprue. Please use knives with due care
and remember to cut away from yourself at all times.
During the construction of this model, you may find it convenient to use pegs / elastic bands to hold pieces in
place while you allow glue to dry.
All the track bed sections have the position of the
tracks etched into them.
Straight sections also have holes cut for lugs on
the tracks to slot into.
For straight track, take the track sections (bottom of
pic) and slot them into place on the track bed using
the holes to align them (top pic)
For any other pieces (curves, turnouts,
crossovers, etc) they are supplied with tabs
between the rails which keep the rails the right
distance apart.
Glue the rails to the track bed (using the etched
guides to position them correctly) then once dry
carefully remove the tabs with a sharp blade.
