All the information in this booklet is designed to help you. Please take a

moment to read carefully.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

FOR THE INSTALLER

To ensure you install the unit easily and correctly, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. CHECK YOUR

INSTALLATION IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND

OTHER APPLICABLE CODES. There are some simple diagrams to assist you in the

installation of the cooler on the last sheet of this booklet. After installation, leave these

instructions inside the cooler for future reference.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR WATER COOLER

1. The water cooler is not intended for outdoor use.

2. All service work to be carried out by authorised Aqua Cooler service agents only.

Failure to do so will void the warranty on the water cooler.

3. Warranty will also be voided if installation is not carried out as detailed in the Aqua

Cooler installation instructions.

4. The thermostat is pre-set and non-adjustable for 10 degree water under normal

conditions.

5. The coolers are tested to meet accreditation standards. This cooler meets the

AS/NZS 1044:1995 EMC testing standards for electrical interference. They meet

the TYPE test MP52 plumbing standards for back flow prevention and they are

tested to meet IEC 60 335-2-24:97 plus amendments for electrical safety.

INSTALLATION

If you would like Aqua Cooler to install the system for you, please contact us at the

number on the cover of this booklet.

1. Ensure proper ventilation by allowing 75mm clearance on each side of the cooler.

2. Minimum water pressure is 100 kpa and maximum is 700 kpa. If the water pressure

exceeds 700 kpa a pressure limiting valve should be fitted. These are an optional

extra and are available through Aqua Cooler, if needed.

3. Install a 40 mm waste trap onto the waste outlet on the rear of the cooler - not

supplied.

4. Water in connection is secured via a ½” kinko nut and olive into the stainless

connection on the rear of the unit as per the diagram in this booklet. It is

recommended that a ½” shut off valve is installed at this point for the purposes of

future maintenance.

5. Turn on water supply and hold down bubbler and purge system of air until a steady

stream of water comes from the tap.

6. The tap needs to be adjusted for the correct water flow in relation to the local water

pressure. On the side of the tap is an inner and an outer screw. Once you have

established a steady water flow adjust the INNER screw until the stream is in the

centre of the stainless steel top.

7. Check all connections for water leaks.

8. Plug the cooler into the building electrical supply. The unit will start automatically.

THE FILTER

In order to provide you with the performance and the personal satisfaction you expect

from AQUA COOLER, we have fitted the latest in water purification. At AQUA

COOLER we call it the smart choice. Our system provides clean, safe and fresh tasting

water while looking after your health.

 The filter is a proprietary, carbon-block filter of greater density. No activation is

required.

 The filters will reduce chlorine, taste and odour.

 A choice of cartridges is available for differing water conditions.

WARRANTY FORM AND CONTACT DETAILS

Aqua Cooler Pty Limited warrants this appliance to the first purchaser as follows and

subjected to the stated conditions.

1. Any defect in the appliance occurring within the first twelve months from the date

of purchase will be rectified free of charge by Aqua Cooler Pty Limited or any

authorised independent service agent.

2. Aqua Cooler Pty Limited agrees to replace any parts of the hermetically sealed

refrigeration system that becomes inoperative in the following four years following

the first years' full warranty. This limited warranty covers the compressor,

condenser, and interconnecting refrigeration pipe-work. It excluded relays,

overloads and all other components of this appliance. This limited warranty does not

include service, labour costs or any pick up and/or freight charges.

CONDITIONS OF THIS WARRANTY

1. The appliance must be installed in accordance with the manufacturers installation

instructions.

2. The warranty extends only to repairing or replacing any components that proves to

be defective in material or workmanship.

3. The warranty does not cover defects occasioned by misuse, alteration or accident.
