months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal

Read this manual thoroughly before rst use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The
safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of re; electric shock and injury when correctly
adhere to. Please keep this user manual in a safe place along with your purchase receipt, warranty
card and carton for future reference. If applicable, pass these instructions and packaging on to the
next owner of the product. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measure
when using an electrical product.
1. Read all instructions before using the Mirror/Camera.
2. Never allow children to play with electrical equipment.
3. Do not pull or carry by the cords, use the cords as a handle, close a door on the cords, or pull the
cords around sharp edges or corners.
4. Do not use the Mirror/Camera for anything other than its intended use.
5. Do not allow water or any other liquid to enter the Mirror/Camera housing or its cords.
6. The Mirror/Camera is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any type of
separate remote control system.
7. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer is dangerous and may
cause re, electric shock or injury.
8. Do not bend or damage any of the cords.
9. Never operate the Mirror/Camera with wet hands, submerge under water or spill liquids into the
Mirror/Camera.
10. Improper installation may result in the risk of re, electric shock and/or injury to persons.
11. If the Mirror/Camera or its cords are damaged, do not use the unit. Please contact the After Sales
Support line for assistance.
12. The manufacturer and retailer are not responsible for any eventual damages caused by improper
or faulty use.
13. The Mirror/Camera has no user serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair,
disassemble or modify the Mirror/Camera.
14. This Mirror/Camera is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the Mirror/Camera by a person responsible for their
safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the Mirror/Camera.
15. Ensure that all packaging and plastic bags that were included in the Mirror/Camera giftbox are
kept out of reach from children to avoid potential danger of suffocation.
16. Never block the ventilation holes and openings that can be found on the and back of the Mirror.
These ventilation holes have been specically included in the design of the Mirror to assist the
product to cool down and to prevent overheating.

17. Be extremely careful when unpacking or relocating the Mirror/Camera. Ensure that the Mirror/
Camera is not dropped, bumped or has excessive force applied to it. Impacts such as these can
damage the product and its internal components.
18. Keep the unit away from heat sources and/or prolonged direct sunlight. See the “Managing the
Mirror/Camera During Summer” section on page 08 for more information.
19. Do not install the Mirror/Camera and any of its cords where it can interfere with the driver’s vision.
This may cause an accident.
20. While cleaning the inside of the car, do not spray water or wax directly onto the product. It can
cause re, an electric shock, or malfunction.
21. Clean the lens of the Camera on a regular basis as this may affect the clarity of the image it
produces.
22. Do not leave the Mirror/Camera unattended during operation.
23. Do not solely rely on the Mirror/Camera to ensure the path is clear for reversing. Please use your
vehicle's side windows and side mirrors to ensure that the environment is clear of obstacles,
peoples, animals and other hazards.
24. The Mirror/Camera should always be repacked in its original packaging whenever transporting to
prevent any possible damage to the device.
25. If you notice any unusual odours or smoke around the unit, immediately turn your car off and
disconnect the unit from the power source. Failure to do so may result in re or electric shock.

Prior to using your Mirror/Camera, please read all safety and operating instructions
thoroughly. Please ensure you follow the steps below before using this unit. We recommend
you keep the original packaging for storing your Mirror/Camera when not in use.
1. Unpack the product but keep all packaging material until you have made sure your new Mirror/
Camera is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard
for babies and young children so ensure all packaging materials are out of their reach.
2. Remove the twist-ties which are securing the cords. Uncoil the cords and straighten them to
remove any kinks. Do not use the product if the cords are damaged, please call the After Sales
Support Line for further advice.
IMPORTANT: Managing the Mirror/Camera During Summer
Park in a shady place or an indoor parking lot.
If an outdoor parking lot is used, park away from direct sunlight.
If the product is exposed to direct sunlight, allow the product to cool down before use.
During Summer, the temperature inside the vehicle may rise to above 50°C. In the event of
these extreme heats, please do not store the Mirror/Camera inside the vehicle.

licensed auto-electrician. The manufacturer and retailer are not responsible for any shorts, battery
damage, re or other issues arising from incorrect installation of the unit. Install at your own risk.
Preparing the Rear View Mirror
1. Connect the Rear View Mirror (A) to the Power Cable (D). The black plug on the Power Cable
should be inserted into the red jack of the Rear View Mirror, as shown in Fig. 1.
2. Connect the Rear View Mirror (A) to the Wireless Receiver (C). The yellow plug on the Wireless
Receiver should be inserted into the yellow jack of the Rear View Mirror, as shown in Fig. 1.
NOTE: The white jack of the Rear View Mirror is used to connect to a DVD/GPS device. This is a
completely optional function.
Preparing the Reverse Camera
Connect the Reverse Camera (E) to the Wireless Transmitter (B). The yellow/red plugs on the Wireless
Transmitter should be inserted into the yellow/red jacks of the Reverse Camera respectively, as
shown in Fig. 2.

Installation
Rear View Mirror Installation
The Mirror is designed to be xed to your vehicle’s current existing rear view mirror. To attach the
Mirror, follow the below instructions.
1. Position the top xtures on the back of the Mirror against the top of your vehicle’s rear view
mirror, as shown in Fig. 1.
NOTE: When positioning the Mirror, ensure there is a secure route for the cables.
2. Slide bottom xtures downwards and push under the bottom edge of your vehicle’s rear view
mirror, as shown in Fig. 2.
3. As soon as you let go of the bottom xtures, they will clamp around the rear view mirror, as
shown in Fig. 3.
The Mirror is now ready to be connected to power (see the “Rear View Mirror Power Supply” section
on page 12 for further information).
Reverse Camera Installation
The Camera is designed to be xed to your vehicle’s rear license plate. To attach the Camera, follow
the below instructions.
1. Remove the two top screws which are securing your license plate to your vehicle, as shown in
Fig. 4.
2. Position the Camera so that the holes of the unit line up with the holes of your license place, as
shown in Fig. 5.

IMPORTANT: Take note of the “Up” sticker on the Camera. If you install the Camera upside down,
the image projected on the Mirror will also be upside down.
NOTE: When positioning the Camera, ensure there is a secure route for the cables.
NOTE: Ensure that the Camera is in a position which will provide you with a clear view when in
use.
3. Use the license plate screws to attach the Camera to the license plate (and the vehicle), as shown
in Fig. 5.
The Camera is now ready to be connected to power (see the “Reverse Camera Power Supply”
section on page 12 for further information).

Power Supply

To supply your Camera with power, it must be connected to the cable of your vehicle’s reversing
lights. The Camera will then be activated every time the reverse gear is selected.

Repair and Refurbished
Goods or Parts Notice
Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to be returned to the
Supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such as les stored
on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored on a
portable media player, games saved on a games console or les stored on a USB memory stick)
during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost.
We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with refurbished
goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only
used where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specications.
If at any time you feel your repair is being handled unsatisfactorily, you may escalate your complaint.

Other Useful Information
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning the Mirror/Camera, ensure your car is turned off.
The Mirror/Camera is likely only to require regular “dusting” to keep it clean. Use a standard
duster, or dry soft microbre cloth to remove the dust from the Mirror/Camera. Remove dust from
the Mirror/Camera regularly.
If the Mirror/Camera becomes soiled with anything other than dust on its exterior, clean the
exterior of the Mirror/Camera by wiping over the surface with a slightly damp cloth and then
polish with a soft dry cloth.
Be careful when wiping over the Mirror/Camera, that you do not apply too much pressure, as
there is a risk that you may break parts.
Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners, and do not allow moisture, water or other liquid to
enter the Mirror/Camera.
Storage
This unit is best stored in a cool, dry environment away from bright light and dust.

Responsible Disposal
At the end of its working life, do not throw this appliance out with your household rubbish. Electrical
and electronic products contain substances that can have a detrimental effect on the environment
and human health if disposed of inappropriately. Observe any local regulations regarding the disposal
of electrical consumer goods and dispose of it appropriately for recycling. Contact your local
authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.
Please keep the original packaging carton and materials in a safe place. It will help to prevent any
damage if the product needs to be transported in the future. In the event it is to be disposed of,
please recycle all packaging material where possible.
