Warranty Details
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 36
months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal
use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. The benets conferred
by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the
consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory
laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any
other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or
replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure.

General Information and
Safety Instructions
Read this manual thoroughly before rst use, even if you are familiar with this type of product.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of re, electric shock and injury when
correctly adhered to. Please keep this user manual in a safe place along with your purchase
receipt, warranty card and carton for future reference. If applicable, pass these instructions and
packaging on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and
accident prevention measures when using an electrical product.
Electrical Safety and Cord Handling
1. Before turning on the Super Blend 1000, ensure the electrical voltage and frequency of the
circuit corresponds to those indicated on the rating label of the product.
2. To protect against re and electric shock, do not immerse this appliance, cord set or plug in
water or any other liquid.
3. Do not use an extension cord unless completely necessary with the Super Blend 1000. If an
extension cord is used, please ensure that it has a rating equal or exceeding the rating of this
product.
4. Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on the cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
5. Do not bend or damage the power cord.
6. Never force the plug into an outlet.
7. Always unplug the Super Blend 1000 when not in use. To disconnect from the power supply,
grip the plug and pull from the power outlet. Never pull by the cord. The power plug must
be removed from the power socket before cleaning, servicing, maintenance or moving the
Super Blend 1000.
8. Do not move or lift the Super Blend 1000 while the power cord is still connected to the power
outlet or still on. Always ensure it is switched o and has cooled down before moving.
9. Do not use the Super Blend 1000 if the plug, cord or the Super Blend 1000 itself is damaged.

10. Unless your home is already tted with a residual current device (safety switch), we
recommend installing an RCD with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA to
provide additional safety protection when using electrical appliances. See your electrician for
professional advice.

Usage Conditions and Restrictions
1. The Super Blend 1000 is intended for indoor household use only and not for commercial
purposes.
2. Do not use the Super Blend 1000 for other than its intended use.
3. The Super Blend 1000 is not a toy. Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with
this product.
4. The Super Blend 1000 is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible
for their safety.
5. Do not leave the Super Blend 1000 unattended when plugged in. Always switch o and
unplug when you are not using the Super Blend 1000.
6. Do not operate or place any part of the Super Blend 1000 on or near any hot surfaces (such as
a gas or electric burner, or a heated oven).
7. Do not cover the appliance whilst in use.
8. This unit has no user-serviceable parts contained within. Do not attempt to repair,
disassemble or modify the Super Blend 1000.
9. Improper installation or misuse of this appliance may result in the risk of re, electric shock or
injury to person.
10. The manufacturer is not responsible for any eventual damage caused by improper or faulty
use.
11. The use of attachments not sold or recommended by the manufacturer may cause re or
electric shock or injury.
12. The Super Blend 1000 is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or any
type of separate remote control system.
13. Do not place the Super Blend 1000 against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least
10cm of free space around the appliance.

Handling and Usage
1. To prevent the Super Blend 1000 from overheating, never operate for more than 1 minute
at a time, as this may cause permanent damage to the motor. If the motor stops working,
unplug the power base and let it cool for an hour before attempting to use it again.
2. Always operate the Super Blend 1000 on a dry, level surface. Operating on sinks or uneven
surfaces should be avoided.
3. Do not come in contact with the moving parts.
4. Keep your hands and utensils away from the blades while chopping or blending foods to
reduce the risk of injury or damage to the appliance. A scraper may be used only when the
Super Blend 1000 is not running.
5. Ensure you have screwed the blade attachment securely onto the blending cup before
placing it onto the power base and operating the appliance.
6. Be careful when handling the blade attachment, especially when cleaning as the blades are
very sharp.
7. Do not place the blade attachment onto the power base without attaching the blending cup
rst.
8. Always ensure that the blade attachment is tightly and securely fastened to the blending cup
before using the Super Blend 1000. A medium to high amount of force should be used to
fasten the blade attachment onto the blending cup.
9. Do not blend warm or hot foods and liquids as this may cause a build-up of pressure in the
blending cup due to steam being generated from the heat. This pressure build-up may cause
the food or liquid to be ejected from the blending cup or cause the blending cup to shatter.
10. Do not operate the Super Blend 1000 when the blending cup is empty as this may damage
the appliance.
11. Never remove the blending cup/blade attachment from the power base until the motor has
come to a complete stop. Removing the blending cup/blade attachment while the power
base is still running may cause damage to the blade coupling or the motor gear.
12. Do not exceed the maximum ll mark on the blending cup when adding ingredients, as this
can cause spillage.
13. Do not use the blending cups if they are cracked or broken.

Getting Started
Before First Use
Prior to using your Super Blend 1000, please read all safety and operating instructions
thoroughly. Please ensure you follow the steps below before using this appliance. We
recommend you keep the original packaging for storing your Super Blend 1000 when not in use.
1. Unpack the product but keep all packaging material until you have made sure your new
Super Blend 1000 is undamaged and in good working order. Plastic wrapping can be a
suocation hazard for babies and young children so ensure all packaging materials are out of
their reach.
2. Remove the twist-tie which is securing the electrical cord. Uncoil the cord and straighten it to
remove any kinks. Do not use the product if the cord or plug is damaged, please call the After
Sales Support line for further advice.
3. Wash the 1L blending cup, and 2 x 800ml blending cups, blade attachment, easy-drink and
storage lids in warm soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. These parts are dishwasher
safe.
4. Wipe the exterior housing of the power base with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquids.
5. Place the power base on a at, stable, level surface to operate.

The ‘‘Pulse’’ Technique
The Super Blend 1000 features a powerful 1000 watt motor, which emulsies the ingredients
when blending. If you want to make chunky dips or chop vegetables in a coarse manner, it is
recommended to use the “Pulse” Technique.
To use the pulse technique:
1. With one hand, hold the base of the blending cup and apply anticlockwise pressure to it to
prevent it from locking.
2. With your other hand, press down on the top of the blending cup (blending will start), and
then quickly release. To avoid over-blending do not lock the blending cup in place (do not
turn clockwise). Continue this process until the desired consistency is reached.
The “Shake” Technique
When lling the Super Blend 1000 with ingredients, sometimes too much ingredients, or not
enough liquid is added (can cause the mixture to be too dense). This makes it hard for the
ingredients towards the top of the blending cup to make it down to the blades. If the ingredients
towards the top of the blending cup are not being blended, use the “Shake” Technique.
To use the shake technique:
1. Remove the blending cup/blade assembly from the power base.
2. Hold the blending cup/blade assembly with both hands and shake until the ingredients at
the top of the blending cup have moved closer towards the blending blades.
3. Next, place the blending cup/blade assembly back onto the power base and commence
blending once again.
The “Tap” Technique
If you have a problem with ingredients sticking to the side of the blending cup, the “Tap”
Technique will assist with moving the ingredients towards the blending blades.
To use the tap technique:
1. Remove the blending cup/blade assembly from the power base.
2. Then, tap the blending cup/blade assembly lightly on the counter/benchtop to force the
ingredients towards the blending blades.
3. Next, place the blending cup/blade assembly back onto the power base and commence
blending once again.

Instructions
Operating the Super Blend 1000
1. Place the power base on a at, stable and level surface.
2. Add the ingredients into the nominated blending cup.
NOTE: Do not exceed the maximum ll mark on the blending cup when adding ingredients,
as this could cause spillage.
3. Pour in a small amount of liquid into the blending cup, this will assist to blend the
ingredients.
4. Twist the blade attachment onto the blending cup by turning it in a clockwise direction until
it is securely attached. The blending blades should be clearly visible inside the blending cup.
CAUTION: Always ensure that the blade attachment is tightly and securely fastened to the
blending cup before using the Super Blend 1000. A medium to high amount of force should
be used to fasten the blade attachment onto the blending cup.
5. Plug the power cord into a power outlet and turn on.
6. Turn the blending cup upside down so the blade attachment is positioned on the bottom of
the blending cup.
7. Press the blending cup down and twist it in a clockwise direction to lock it into position.
Once locked, the Super Blend 1000 will commence blending automatically. When you
have reached the desired consistency, twist the blending cup in an anticlockwise direction
and wait 3 seconds. Then lift the blending cup from the power base.
NOTE: The Super Blend 1000 is designed to be used for a maximum of 1 minute intervals.
Please allow for a 3 minute cool down period in between each 1 minute cycle to ensure the
Super Blend does not overheat.
8. Switch o and unplug the Super Blend 1000 from the power outlet.
9. Turn the blending cup upright with the blade attachment on top. Remove the blade
attachment by rotating it in an anticlockwise direction and replace it with an easy-drink or
storage lid.

NOTE: Always ensure you have securely tightened the blade attachment before operating
the Super Blend 1000.
NOTE: To prevent the Super Blend 1000 from overheating, do not blend dry ingredients for
more than 30 seconds.
CAUTION: The blades are very sharp, handle with care.
NOTE: You may notice a slight odour being emitted from the Super Blend 1000 during the
initial use. This is normal and the odour will cease with continued use.
NOTE: Do not blend warm or hot foods and liquids as this may cause a build-up of pressure
in the blending cup due to steam being generated from the heat. This pressure build-up
may cause the food or liquid to be ejected from the blending cup or cause the blending cup
to shatter.

Cleaning and Maintenance
1. Unplug and switch o the Super Blend 1000 from the power outlet.
2. Wash the blending cup, blade attachment, easy-drink and storage lids in warm soapy water,
then rinse and dry thoroughly. These parts are dishwasher safe.
3. For extra stubborn ingredients stuck within the blending cup and blade attachment, place it
onto the power base and turn clockwise to start the blender (run for 20-30 seconds). This will
loosen the ingredients stuck and with a light scrub, the ingredients should be easily washed
away.
4. Wipe the exterior housing of the power base with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Always unplug the Super Blend 1000 when cleaning or assembling.
CAUTION: Do not submerge the power base into water or any other liquids.
CAUTION: The blades within the blade attachment are very sharp, handle with care.
NOTE: Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners to clean the Super Blend 1000, as this could
damage the nish of the appliance.
Storage
• Before packing away the Super Blend 1000 for storage, ensure it is clean and dry.
• We recommend storing the Super Blend 1000 in its original carton to protect it from dust, with
all the parts and accessories (1L blending cup, 2 x 800ml blending cups, easy-drink and storage
lids and blade attachment).
• Store the Super Blend 1000 in a clean and dry place, out of children’s reach.
• Do not place heavy objects on top during storage.

Responsible Disposal
At the end of its working life, do not throw this product out with your household rubbish.
Electrical and electronic products contain substances that can have a detrimental eect on the
environment and human health if disposed of inappropriately. Observe any local regulations
regarding the disposal of electrical consumer goods and dispose of it appropriately for recycling.
Contact your local authorities for advice on recycling facilities in your area.
Please keep the original packaging carton and materials in a safe place. It will help to prevent any
damage if the product needs to be transported in the future. In the event it is to be disposed of,
please recycle all packaging material where possible.

the Supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such as les
stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored
on a portable media player, games saved on a games console or les stored on a USB memory
stick) during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost.
We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them with
refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used where they
meet ALDI’s stringent quality specications.
