Double Shutter Motor Kit Assembly Instructions
Mount Return Spring
1. Drill 1/8" hole 1-1/4" left of each connecting bar in flat edge of frame. (See Figure 1.)
2. Attach the return springs from the 1/8" holes in the frame to the pre-drilled 1/8" holes in the connecting
bars, using an “S” hook on both ends of the return springs. (See Figure 3 on Page 2.)
Mount Assembly
1. Attach motor mount bracket to the back of the motor using four (4) #8-32 x 3/8" THS screws.
(See Figure 2 on Page 2.)
2. Remove motor arm. Install the stop bracket as shown to the top of the motor using four (4)
MS #8-32 x 3/8" THS Screws. (See Figure 4 on Page 3.)
3. Re-install the motor arm onto the shaft and tighten
4. Center the motor mount bracket on the frame and attach to frame and center bar using three (3)
#8-18 x 1/2" self-tapping screws and flat washers. (See Figure 1.)

Yoke Chain Installation
1. Measure 34" down from the top of the frame and drill a 1/8" hole into the flat edge on each side of
the frame. (See Figure 1 on Page 1.)

2. Measure up 13" from the top of the motor and drill a 1/8" hole into the center of the center bar.
(See Figure 1 on Page 1.)
3. Measure down 29" from the top of the frame and drill a 1/8" hole through both connecting bars.
(See Figure 1 on Page 1 and Figure 3.)
4. Attach the yoke chain from the 1/8" holes in frame to 1/8" holes in the connecting bars using “S”
hooks. Then attach chain from connecting bars to the 1/8" hole in the center bar using “S” hooks.

Lead Chain Installation
1. Connect the lead chain from the center bar to the motor arm using “S” hooks.
(See Figure 1 on Page 1.)
2. Move motor arm counterclockwise to full open position. Adjust blades for full open position by
adjusting lead chain to “S” hook at motor arm. (See Figure 4 and Figure 5.)
