Quick Start Guide
This basic HDBaseT wall plate transmitter/receiver kit is a cost effective HDMI extension
product from AVPro Edge’s ConferX line of products. Able to handle 4k at 10.2 Gbps, this
single gang wall plate transmitter ts in any standard mud ring and works with standard
category cable to deliver a stable signal long distances. This extender kit is able to send a
4k signal 40 Meters and a 1080p signal 70 meters using CAT6a with HDBaseT technology.

Installation
1. Connect Cat cable from the wall plate
transmitter to the ex70 receiver
2. Power on the system with the provided power supply. You only need to
power the receiver for both units to receive power.
3. Connect your computer to the wall plate transmitter via HDMI
4. Connect your display to the Receiver via HDMI.
RS-232 Conguration
RS-232 can be used to pass control signals bi-directionally to &
from any RS-232 compatible device.
In order to connect your computer to the extender by rs232 you need to make
your own cable with one end a phoenix connector and the other end a rs-232
port. your computer doesn’t have a rss-232 input, get a usb converter (as
shown below) and plug the usb end to any computer.
Powering the AC-CXWP-HDMO-T
There are 2 ways to power the unit:
1. Use a HDBaseT Receiver that provides up stream power. This kit
comes with the a receiver with the ability to do so (AC-EX70-UHD-
Bkt).
2. If you will be using the wall plate transmitter directly into a NON
PoE Provider (AVR, Projector, Display, or other HDBaseT receiver),
you can power it using a 5V MINI USB Type power supply.
Troubleshooting
Verify Power: Verify Connections - Check that all cables are properly
connected
IR Issues: Verify correct connections - Visibly ashing Emitters may
not function properly, try the IR Cables that come in the box if you
are experiencing issues
