IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This manual contains important instructions that you should follow during installation and
maintenance of the vibration sensor. Please read all instructions before operating the equipment
and save this manual for future reference.
The vibration sensor is a device that works with the Eaton Powerware
Environmental Rack Monitor (ERM) and connects to the TH-Module.
Through the ERM, the user can monitor if there is any situation of
vibration.
Recommended Location of Vibration Sensors
S The vibration sensor is designed for protecting against forced entry by
hammer, saw, crowbar, etc. through walls, ceilings, windows, safes,
cabinets, etc. It is used in closed-circuit alarm systems and initiates
an alarm when a vibration of considerable force strikes the protected
surface.
S The vibration sensor detects shock of movement. If you want
something kept still, you can stick the vibration sensor on the surface
of the object to detect and alarm the movement of the object.
