Step 1.1
Connect the aerial cable to RF IN. Connect the
RF cable between RF OUT and RF IN on your TV.
Connect a SCART cable between your Digital
TV Recorder and the TV.
Step 1.2
Connect the mains plug to a power socket and
turn the power socket On.
Step 1.3
Remove the battery cover from the remote
control and insert 2 x AAA batteries (supplied)
into the battery compartment. Replace the
battery cover.
Step 1.4
To turn your Digital TV Recorder On and Off
press the STANDBY button on the remote
control.

Step 2.1
Select your TV screen type using the left and
right arrow buttons to move between the
options: NORMAL and WIDESCREEN.
Step 2.2
Press the OK button to start the installation.
Step 2.3
You will see the channels that have been
found during the installation. It will take a few
minutes for your Digital TV Recorder to find all
the channels.
Step 2.4
If you live in an area that can receive channels
from multiple regions you will see the screen
above. Select your preferred region and press
the OK button to complete the installation.

Getting around the Programme Guide
Library
You can view your Library by pressing the LIB button.
The Library lists the programmes that you have
recorded and the programmes that are scheduled to
record.
To watch a programme, choose one from the list and
press the OK button to begin playback.
The Main Menu
Organising your Channels
To open the Programme Guide, press the GUIDE button.
Press the p and q buttons to select a new channel,
and the u buttons to select the programme list on the
right. To record a programme press the R button.
Press the OK button to choose the programme and the
EXIT button to close the EPG window.
To open the Main Menu, press the MENU button.
Press the p and q buttons to select an option
From this menu you can open the Library, organise
your channels, change the default settings, retune your
Digital TV Recorder or look at the system information.
You can arrange your channel list so that it is in your
preferred order.
You can delete, lock, hide and move channels using the
coloured buttons on your remote control.
If you accidentally delete a channel, do a retune to get
them back again.
