Unpack the heater from its shipping container. Open the front of the FT7000 cabinet. Place the heater as-
sembly on the shelf in front of the UPS unit. Plug the heater into the NON-BATTERY, SURGE ONLY
outlet as shown. This outlet will continue to be powered, even if the UPS is turned off. Ty wrap the excess
power cord neatly to avoid obstructing the airow. Ensure all doors and panels are closed on the unit to
assure proper heating efciency.
InTroducTIon
The heater assembly for the FT7000 is a self contained industrial quality unit. Air is drawn in from the bot-
tom, heated and exits the top. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO POSITION THE HEATER IN ANY OTHER
MANNER. It has been preset for 90 degrees F. and MUST NOT be changed. If there is evidence of the
tamper seal being removed, it WILL void any warranty. Ensure the unit remains clear of any obstacles that
might hinder air ow, especially the top.
