IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Warning! When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always

• To protect against electrical hazards, DO NOT immerse in water or other liquids.
Do not use near water or place near a window where rain may enter and come
in contact with the unit.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children, or
by disabled persons.
• DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, if motor fan fails
to rotate, after the appliance malfunctions, or if it has been dropped or damaged
in any manner.
• DO NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this
unit. Doing so will void your warranty. Return the appliance to the manufacturer
for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
• DO NOT operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
• Use appliance only for its intended household use as described in this manual.
Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer, such as commercial or
industrial use, may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• Always unplug the fan before assembly or disassembly, when moving from one
location to another, before cleaning, or whenever the fan is not in use.
• To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never pull on the
cord.
• Always use on a dry, level surface.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. DO NOT operate without fan grills properly in
place.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
WARNING: This fan is equipped with a polarized alternating current line plug (one
blade is wider than the other). This plug fits into the power outlet only
one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug
fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still fails to fit,
contact an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the
safety purpose of the polarized plug.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Set the fan base on a dry, level surface. Plug the cord into the 120V outlet. To turn on the fan press one
of the three speed buttons marked (1) low, (2) medium, or (3) high. To turn the fan off press the button
marked (0) off. The speed is adjusted by pressing one of the three buttons for your desired level of
cooling.
2. To start and stop oscillation of the fan head, press the oscillating button.
3. The timer can be set to switch the fan off after up to 120 minutes. To use the fan without the timer feature
set the timer knob to “ON”. If the timer knob is at “OFF”, the fan will not work even when the speed
buttons are depressed.
STAND ASSEMBLY
1. Position mains lead in the centre channel of the rear base plate before lifting the front
base plate and attach by sliding downwards.
2. Turn the fan upside down (control panel touching the floor) and fix the body into the
base and secure with the 2 screws. (Fig.1)
3. Place the mains lead through the cord channel (Fig. 2) to reduce movement of the power
cord during use or transportation.
4. Turn the fan right side up for operation.
CLEANING
FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
The fan can occasionally be wiped with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive or aggressive detergents, thus no
scouring powder and no scouring sponges. Allow to fully dry before using. The motor bearings are
permanently sealed and do not require additional lubrication.
NEVER IMMERSE THE FAN IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID.
SAFETY TIPS
This fan is intended for normal household use only.
Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned to avoid people tripping over it.
If the fan or cord is damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance. The cord shall be
exclusivelyreplaced by an electrician or similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
Not to be used outdoors.
Make sure that the fan is out of the reach of children.
Place the fan on a solid table or other stable surface. Do not place the fan in or near an open window.
Make sure that there are no objects near the fan that might be knocked over or be in the way when the
oscillation function is switched on.
Do not use the fan in damp rooms such as bathrooms and do not place it near a sink or other
receptacle full of water.
Make sure that curtains and other fabrics cannot be sucked into the fan.

from the original date of purchase under normal household use. Within the warranty period, we will
replace the product. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser, and excludes any damage

IMPORTANT! Do not return this product to your retailer. If for any reason this product malfunctions, please
follow the directions below and return the product to the manufacturer to receive areplacement product of

Cut the power cord off the product. (MAKE SURE THAT THE PRODUCT IS REMOVED FROM THE POWER
OUTLET.) Remove the rating tag/label from the back or bottom of the product. Return both items to the
