PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
Our push-to-open anti-panic systems are designed to be fi tted even on sliding doors made with any commercial-grade door frames.
The following pages show the measurements and notes required to properly design and size the doors.
SLIDING DOOR-LEAVES:
assemble the door-leaf parts so as to leave room for the hinge pins;
the upper and lower hinges must be aligned along the same axis;be careful when fitting the hinge components. They must be fast and sound,
to offset any vibrations and movements that over time may become wobbly and thus hazardous for users;
if the structure is fragile, the installer must fit suitable reinforcements;
fasten the glass using silicone sealant in addition to any other fasteners;
use either stratified or tempered glass.

Reinforcing spacers
Fit and fasten the carriage wheel so
that it does not touch the floor when
the sliding door-leaf opens.
The carriage wheel only works
properly if the surface it slides
along is smooth.
The carriage wheel is supplied
in the package and is for door
leaves measuring between
1,100 and 1,500 mm in
width; or for door-leaves that
outweigh the specific weights
listed in the Limits of Use
table that measure maximum
1,100 mm in length.
Fitting the components onto a SLIDING DOOR-LEAF
DOOR LEAF MOUNTED OUTSIDE THE ROOM
First, fasten the pins, fit the reinforcing spacers - these should be tailored to fit by the builders.
Fit the (PM205) pin to the top of the door-leaf frame and fasten it using the 6 x 20 screws Fit the (PM912) pin to the
bottom and fasten it using the 6 x 35 screws
If necessary, fasten the carriage wheel (P4173) by using the 6 x 40 screws .
Fit the (PM338A) and (PM339A) frames to the top of the door-leaf , see the chapter called SETTING UP AND FITTING
THE FRAMES ONTO A SLIDING DOOR-LEAF.
When positioning and attaching the (PM911A) floor-guide using the (PL593) guide pin, make sure the door-leaf is
attached to the operator and that it is closed and that all measurements are compliant .

center-distances.
The drawings show the frame set ups fitted onto a left-opening
door-leaf. The frame set ups on right-opening door-leaves will be
symmetrical.

COMPLEMENTARY COMPONENTS
Attaching extra roller-wheels to the carriage
With the carriage-wheels fittedto the attaching plates, fit the extra wheel (2900001000) to each carriage-wheel before attaching the sliding door
to the operator.
The operator's technical file explains all the door-leaf attaching, fastening and aligning operations.
Attaching the photocells
Before fi tting the photocells, open the doors accidentally a few times to test whether the anti-panic system actually works.
The photocells are fi tted to interrupt the normal operation of the door operator, when the doors are pushed open in a panic situation. They
can be fi tted vertically or even horizontally .
