AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE
• This vehicle is intended for children from birth up to 15kg (3 years approximately).
• WARNING: It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended.
• WARNING: Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
• WARNING: Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the pram/pushchair.
• WARNING: Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
• WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or skating.
• WARNING: Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided.
• Always ensure that the brakes are fully engaged during loading and unloading for children into the pushchair.
• Do not use any replacement parts or accessories other than those approved by or supplied by Mamas & Papas. The use of non-approved parts or
accessories may damage or make your pushchair unsafe.
• This pushchair is designed to carry 2 children only. Never allow additional children to ride on the pushchair.
• The basket supplied holds a maximum of 3kg.
• The ‘D’ rings attached to the rear of the waistbelt are for the use of a seperate harness.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Yourpushchairdeservescarefulhandlingandrequiresregularmaintenance.Regularlycheckthatthesafetyharnessiscorrectlyttedandthatthe
webbinghasnotbecomefrayedordamaged.Iftheharnessisdamaged,werecommendthatanewoneistted.
• Clean the plastic parts of the pushchair with a damp cloth, do not use abrasives or bleach.
• Clean and lubricate the wheels, safety locks (where appropriate) and sliding parts using a light oil or silicon spray. Do not use heavy oil as this will
attract dust and grit which tend to clog and damage moving parts.
• Fabric care: All the Mamas & Papas pushchair fabrics are shower resistant. Should your pushchair become wet do not fold the hood or apron when
youtakeitinside.Alwaysallowthefabricstodrynaturallyawayfromstrongheatsourcessuchasres,radiatorsandoutofdirectsunlight.
• Whilst fabrics are carefully selected and tested, washing, wear and normal exposure to bright sunlight may cause their colour to change.
• Theexposededgesoffabriccoversareoftenthersttowearandfray,rememberthiswhenstoringortransportingyourpushchairandaccessories.
• Light soiling to the pushchair can be removed with a damp sponge and a mild detergent.
• Washing instructions: The fabric cover can be sponged clean using a mild detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasives or bleach to clean the fabric
or frame.

OPENING THE PUSHCHAIR
1.Placethepushchairontheoor
and stand to the side of it. Pull the
locking catches on the sides of the
pushchair outwards until they are
clear of the locking studs.
2. Place your foot on the back of
the pushchair to prevent it rolling
backwards.
Grip the pushchair’s handles and lift
upwards until the frame is open.
3. Push down on the studs on
the pushchair’s back frame until
the pushchair locks into the open
position.
4
ATTACHING THE BASKET
1. Slot the basket in between the
sides and back of the pushchair’s
frame.
2. Attach the deepest end of the
basket to the rear of the pushchair’s
frame as shown in the diagram (A+B).
3. Attach the shallow end of the
basket to the front legs of the
pushchair’s frame as shown in the
diagram (C).

ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The backrest of the pushchair can be
adjustedtooneofvepositions.
Never adjust the backrest with the
child’s weight against it.
1. Lowering the backrest: Two of the
the backrest adjustment brackets are
located on the sides of the pushchair,
and two are located in the centre of
the pushchair. Push the switches on
the top of the adjusters downwards
and hold.
Slide the adjusters towards you into
the desired position and release the
switches.
2. Raising the backrest: Push the
switches on the top of the adjusters
downwards and hold.
Slide the adjusters away from you
into the desired position and release
the switches.
Always check that the backrest has
locked into position by attempting
to push it downwards before
allowing the child to place its full
weight on it.

ADJUSTING THE LEGREST
The angle of the seat’s legrest can be
adjusted for the comfort of your child.
1. Raising the legrest: Grip both
sides of the legrest and lift upwards
into the horizontal position.
2. Lowering the legrest: Lift the two
catches on both sides of the legrest
upwards(1). Lower the legrest into
the vertical position and release the
catches(2).

FITTING THE HOOD
1. Align the clips on the sides of the
hood with the holes in the pushchair’s
frame. Push the clips over the frames
and them slide the studs on the inside
of the clips into the holes.
Push the clips in the middle of the
two sections of the hood over the
middle section of the frame.
2. Pull the back of the hood down
over the pushchair’s backrest.
Push the three tensioning brackets
into the down position.
Slot the elastic loops on the sides of
the hood over the pins on the end of
the hood brackets.
Attach the velcro pads on the hood to
the pads on the pushchair’s backrest.
REMOVING THE HOOD
1. Push the three tensioning brackets
upwards and release the velcro pads
and elastic loops.
Pull the clips on the hood sides and
middle off the pushchair’s frame.

OPERATING THE SWIVEL WHEELS
The front wheels of the pushchair can
be used in either the swivel or locked
mode.
Swivel mode:Bestonhardat
surfaces and in tight spaces.
Locked mode: Best on uneven
ground and rough surfaces.
1. Swivel mode: Using your toes,
push the lock on the front wheel
housing downwards. The wheels can
now rotate through 360°.
2. Locked mode: Turn the wheels
until they face forward.
Using your toes push the lock on the
front wheel housing upwards until the
wheels are locked into position.

OPERATING THE BRAKES
1. Locking the brakes: Push down
on the brake levers on the back of the
pushchair with your toes.
2. Checking the brakes: Always
check that the brakes have correctly
engaged before releaseing the
pushchair’s handles by attempting
to gently push it backwards and
forwards. The pushchair’s wheels
must not move. If they do, lock
the brakes again following the
instructions given above.
3. Unlocking the brakes: Push
upwards on the brake levers on the
back of the pushchair using your
toes.

USING THE SAFETY HARNESS
1. Locking the harness: Push the
two tongues on the ends of the waist
straps into the buckle on the end of
the crotch strap (1).
The harness will automatically lock
when the tongues have been fully
inserted.
2. Unlocking the harness: Squeeze
the ends of the tongues together (2)
and the slide them out of the buckle
(3).
Your child can now be removed from
the pushchair.

FITTING THE RAINCOVER
1. Fit and open the pushchair’s hood.
Place the top of the raincover over
the front of the hood, then pull the
raincover down over the front of the
pushchair.
2. Fasten the velcro strips located
down the sides of the raincover and
by the wheels(A).

FOLDING THE PUSHCHAIR
IMPORTANT: Before folding,
place the legrest in the horizontal
position, raise the backrest and
remove the hood.
1. Lift the studs on the pushchair’s
back frame(A).
2. Using your foot, press down on the
secondary locking catch to release
the frame lock(B).
3. fold the handles forward over the
top of the pushchair(C).
4. continue to push the handles
over the top of the pushchair until
the frame of the pushchair is folded
atontheground.Ensurethatthe
locking catches on the sides of the
pushchair have engaged before lifting
the pushchair up. Check that the
link between the brakes is pushed
inwards against the frame.
