Pairing the speakers together for the first time or re-pairing using True Wireless:
1. To pair the 2 speakers together using True Wireless technology, first hold them no more than 3m apart then press and hold the Power/Function
buttons down on both units simultaneously for around 3 seconds until a tone is heard and the LED indicators flash blue alternately.
2. Next press the Power/Function button on one of the speakers again twice in quick succession and they will enter auto-pairing mode. Once
successful, a tone will be heard from both units and they will flash Blue simultaneously. Note: It’s also necessary to repeat this step to re-pair the
speakers to each other if you ever use them individually on different devices.
3. The speakers can now be switched on and off independently and they will auto-pair when positioned close enough to each other.
4. Note: To avoid difficulty with pairing on first use, always ensure the speakers are fully charged (see below for charging details).
Connecting to your device using Bluetooth.
1. With both speakers on and paired, open the Bluetooth device list on your smartphone or tablet and select the pairing name, “AV:LINK-
SOUNDSHOTS. If your device asks for a pairing code enter “0000”. If the pairing name appears twice in your device list, then units haven’t paired
together properly so please repeat the steps in the section above and search again.
2. Once paired, a tone will be heard, and the LED indicators will light solid blue on the main left speaker and flash blue on the right speaker.
3. Now you have successfully connected with your device, the speakers will automatically re-pair if your device is in range and Bluetooth pairing
mode.
4. The speakers can be placed up to 5m apart in clear line of sight of each other and the main left speaker can be placed up to 10m away from your
device.
5. Once connected you can listen to your music through either the main left speaker on its own, or both speakers. The Power/Function button can
then be used to play and pause your current track.
6. Its also possible to use the 2 individual speakers as a single speaker on 2 different devices by following the same pairing procedure as above. Just
ensure that you either power off the other speaker when pairing or they are in different locations, so they don’t try and connect to each other!
7. When receiving a phone call whilst connected to a smartphone a ringtone can be heard. You can then either accept the call by pressing the
Power/Function button once or reject it by pressing it twice. There are microphones built into both speakers, so you can speak into either when on
a hands-free call.
Charging the speakers:
1. Its possible to charge the speakers either independently or together using the wireless charging plate provided.
2. To charge using the wireless charging plate, connect the USB port at the back of the plate to a compatible power source using the USB lead
provided. The power LED on the plate will glow red whenever its connected to a compatible power source.
3. Sit both speakers correctly on the plate ensuring the locating pins and slots are aligned correctly.
4. When the speakers are charging, the LED indicators on the speakers will glow red and will go out when fully charged.
5. To charge either speaker independently, connect the USB lead provided to the charging port on the base of the speaker.

FAQ
Q) Why won’t my Bluetooth device connect to the speakers? A) The speakers may not be in pairing mode, or the Bluetooth device may not be set as
‘discoverable’. Check these settings, then try again.
Q) Why is there interference or audio lag on the speakers? A) The speakers may be low on power, too far apart from each other or there may be
another 2.4Ghz device in the vicinity that is interfering with the signal.
Q) Why do the speakers disconnect from my Bluetooth device within the stated 10m transmission distance? A) Large metallic objects or other devices
transmitting radio or wireless signals can impact on the reception of the speakers. To attain the maximum transmission distance, ensure there is a clear
line of sight between the speakers and the Bluetooth device.
Q) Why won’t the speakers switch on? A) The speakers may not be sufficiently charged. To recharge, connect the speakers either to the charging plate
or to a USB port using the cable provided.

supports this profile.
