Screw tightening torques
This factory standard applies to all metric screws for which no special tightening torque is
specified in the drawing/instructions. The respective strength class can be seen on the screw
head.
The values specified are nominal values and apply to a head friction coefficient of
IJ=0.14 and a thread friction of IJ=0.125. Slight deviations of the clamping force due to
different friction coefficients may occur. The values listed must be observed with a toler-
ance of ± 10%.
If the specified tightening torques are used and the friction coefficients used are present,
the screw material is stressed to 90% of the minimum yield strength according to DIN
ISO 898.
If a special tightening torque is specified for a screw connection, all of these screw con-
nections must be tightened with a torque wrench and the specified tightening torque.

arms
Protection against being caught by the wrapper. The wrapper drive
is switched off as soon as the safety bracket is actuated.
21 Backup roll
22 Wrapper table Hydraulically swiveling wrapper table for transfer, temporary storage
and unloading of the bale. Bales that are not to be wound can be
unloaded without a winding process with three, hydraulically driven
belts for horizontal rotation of the bale during the winding process.
23 Cut-off lever Hydraulically swiveling cutting lever for fixing and cutting off the si-
lage film.
24 Wrap arms Hydraulically driven wrap arms with film stretching device for wrap-
ping the bale with silage film.
25 Emergency
stop switch
Switch for quickly switching off all hydraulic functions in dangerous
situations.
After actuating the emergency stop switch, the PTO drive and hy-
draulic drive of the tractor continue to run. These must be switched
off on the tractor control system to correct the hazardous situation.
26 Pre-stretching
rollers
These rollers generate a certain pretension on the winding medium
so that the winding can take place without errors.
27 Film maga-
zine
The hydraulically swiveling film magazine, so the storage area for
the winding medium, is located under the rear side guard.
28 Tailgate The tailgate closes up the rear of the bale chamber and opens as
soon as a bale is completely wound.
29 Transfer unit The transfer unit consists of a bale slide and the transfer lifter.
Bale slide: Hydraulically driven longitudinal slide to transport the
bound bale out of the bale chamber.
Transfer lifter: Hydraulically driven lifting device to transfer the bale
to the wrapper table.
