The Metric SMTP Server - Number of Messages Sent By
Mailer (SMTP) Solaris enters retry state if the statistic file
/etc/mail/statistics does not exist.
In this case the metric is displayed in the Performance
Viewer with a value of "0".
This behavior occurs because the command used in metric
contains hardcoded 0 values which will be outputted even
if there is no statistic log.
By default all statistic is turned off. To turn statistic on the
administrator must create the statistic file: # touch
/etc/mail/statistic
"SMTP Server - Number of Messages
Sent By Mailer (SMTP) Solaris" metric

1806935The metrics, rules, and policies that belong to the default
monitor packs are not restored when you attempt to
reimport the pack manually.
To workaround this issue: uninstall the monitor packs and
then install them again.
Monitor packs cannot be re-imported
after you delete a monitor pack that
was previously imported

1679274Apache 2.2.11 is installed into: /usr/local/apache2. The
log is installed into:
/usr/local/apache2/logs/access_log. However, the
provided Apache 2 Server Log Solaris metric only uses the
following custom path:
/var/apache2/logs/access_log. This path is only
correct for the original Apache server that is provided by
Sun. On Apache 2.2.11 this metric cannot be evaluated and
triggered.
If you have a custom installation of Apache 2.2.11 on a
monitored computer, then you must clone the original
metrics and then update them to use the correct log path.

load on Solaris computers. The following metrics may fail
to execute in the specified timeout if you use the mailq
command:
SMTP Server - Mail Queue Size Solaris
SMTP Server - Number of Deferred Messages Solaris
The load may be caused by the wrong configuration of FQDN
on the server.
The command mailq should not be
used in certain metrics. It can generate
