TLP Pro 1022M Adapter Mount • Installation Guide
Overview
The adapter mount enables the TLP Pro 1022M touchpanel to be retrotted into accessories (BB 1000M, EWB 1000, and
RM 1000M) and openings in drywall and furniture that were created for the TLP 1000MV or TLP Pro 1020M touchpanels.
This guide describes:
• Attaching the Adapter Mount to an Existing Hole in Drywall or a BB 1000M
• Attaching the Adapter Mount to an Existing RM 1000M or EWB 1000
• Mounting the Touchpanel

1. Loosely insert the four provided #8-32 mounting plate screws into the adapter mount (see gure 1,

2. Insert the adapter mount over the opening. Tighten the screws (

) that hold the locking arms (

The arms turn (

) and hold the adapter mount loosely in place.
3. Align the adapter mount so that it is level.
4. Tighten the locking arms so that the adapter mount is held securely. Do not overtighten.

1. If you are using this kit to adapt an existing
RM 1000M or EWB 1000, place the four provided 2 inch
strips of anti-slip rubber on the inside clamping surface of the
mounting accessory (see gure 2).
2. Follow steps 1-3 on the previous page to secure the mounting
adapter.
Mounting the Touchpanel
1. Attach the touchpanel mounting plate to the adapter mount
(see gure 3,

). Ensure the mounting plate is in the
correct orientation with the hooks at the top and facing out
from the wall (

).
2. Tighten the four #8-32 mounting plate screws (
1
) so that
the mounting plate is held securely.
3. Run cables to the opening and connect them to the rear
panel of the TLP Pro 1022M.
4. If necessary, insert the provided pan head screws and
washers into the mounting screw slots on the bottom of the
touchpanel (see the bottom inset of gure 3,

).
5. Hold the touchpanel at a slight angle and lower the notches
at the top of the back panel over the hooks of the mounting
plate (

).
6. Swing the bottom of the touchpanel inwards.
7. Fasten the touchpanel to the mounting plate by tightening
the pan head screws (
