DANLERSExternaltimelagswitchcanbewallmountedonanoutside
wallandthroughproperinstallationanIP66ratingcanbeachieved.
Itincorporatesanilluminatedpushbutton,whichwhenpressedwill
switchontheconnectedload.Theloadwillthenswitchoffautomatically
whenthetimelaghaselapsed.Thetimelagcanbeadjustedbetween
2to20minutesviaaninternaladjuster.(TheEXTLSW120canadjust
from12to120minutes).
Theproductmustbemainspoweredandrequiresaneutralconnection.
TheEXTLSWswitchesthemainsthroughtotheload,theEXTLSWVF
providesavoltfreepairsoadifferentsupply(providedbytheapplication)
canbeswitchedtotheload.
Theseswitchescanonlybeconnectedtoa230V,50Hzacsupply.
Theycanswitchupto6amps(1500W)ofResistiveloads,
Upto2amp(500W)ofLowenergylamps,
Ortheycanalsoswitchupto1amp(250W)offans.
For larger loads they can be used to operate a contactor.
Installation procedure
1.Pleasereadthesenotescarefullybeforecommencingwork.
Incaseofdoubtpleaseconsultaqualiedelectrician.
Makesurethepowerisisolatedfromthecircuit.
2. ToensureIP66,mounttheenclosureusingonlythefourxing
holesprovided,useacircularcableofdiameter6-12mm,tthe
sealprovidedintothegroovewithintheenclosurelid.
3.TheEXTLSWswitcheshaveaterminalblockonthereverse,
whichshouldbeconnectedasshowninwiringdiagramoverleaf:

SL SwitchedLineoutput
N Neutral
Turnonthesupplyandtestthefunctionoftheswitch.

Troubleshooting
The external time lag switch resets itself off:
•Thesupplytothetimelagswitchmustbepermanent,it 
shouldnotbewiredinseriesafteranothertimerdevice.
