Installation and operation
Inserting the batteries into the transmitter.
Open the battery cover by pushing the open mark and
sliding the cover down. Insert two 1.5V AA type dry cell
batteries or two 1.2V AA size NiMH rechargeable batteries
into the battery box. Match the battery terminals marked
“+” with the “+” on the label in the battery box.
Charging the batteries.
Use either charger AS402C, AS412C, AS436C or AS450C to
recharge. Simply place the transmitter into the charger
slot. The recharging bottom contacts will connect to the
charger for fast charging. Usually full-charged batteries
can be used for approximately 10 hours.
Warning:
Do not place the transmitter with Alkaline (type dry cell)
batteries into the charger.

AS201T Transmitter operation.
1. The transmitter has one switch only for power and
volume adjustment. Turn the switch clockwise to
active the transmitter and adjust volume. Turn
counter-clockwise to deactivate the transmitter and
minimize volume. When turning on the transmitter,
the TX light will light up green, this indicates that the
transmitter is transmitting normally.
2. The TX light turns red if the batteries are low and
need to be recharged or replaced soon. The
transmission still can function for approximately 30
minutes. If the batteries run out the TX light turns off
and the PL light turns red, this indicates that the
transmitter stops functioning and the batteries need
to be recharged or replaced.
3. Use the channel selector with 16 pre-programmed
frequencies (0 to 9 and A to F) to select the channel
to transmit.
4. Use a condenser microphone with 3.5mm input jack.
Aux input is available for connecting MP3-, CD player
or other audio sources and is prior to condenser
microphone input and build-in microphone. When Aux
input and microphone input are not connected, the
build-in microphone is activated and it will receive
voice and sound.
5. All input levels are controlled by the power switch.
