Installation and operation
Inserting the batteries into the transmitter.
Open the battery cover by pushing the open mark and
sliding the cover down. Insert two 1.5V AA type dry cell
batteries or two 1.2V AA size NiMH rechargeable batteries
into the battery box. Match the battery terminals marked
“+” with the “+” on the label in the battery box.
Charging the batteries.
Use either charger AS402C, AS412C, AS436C or AS450C to
recharge. Simply place the receiver into the charger slot.
The recharging bottom contacts will connect to the charger
for fast charging. Usually full-charged batteries can be
used for approximately 10 hours.
Warning:
Do not place the receiver with Alkaline (type dry cell)
batteries into the charger.

AS201R Receiver operation.
1. The receiver has one switch only for power and
volume adjustment. Turn the switch clockwise to
active the receiver and adjust volume. Turn counter-
clockwise to deactivate the receiver and minimize
volume. When turning on the receiver, the PL light
will flash one time red, this indicates that the receiver
is functioning normally.
2. After switching on the power, the RX light turns
green, this indicates that the RF signal is received
normally.
3. The RX light turns red if the batteries are low and
need to be recharged or replaced soon. The reception
still can function for approximately 30 minutes. If the
batteries run out the RX light turns off and the PL
light turns red, this indicates that the receiver stops
functioning and the batteries need to be recharged or
replaced.
4. Use the channel selector with 16 pre-programmed
frequencies (0 to 9 and A to F) to select the channel
to transmit.
5. Use an earphone with 3.5mm input jack. When the
earphone is not connected the build-in speaker is
activated and sound can be heard directly from the
receiver.
6. Use Aux out when the receiver will be used for
amplification applications.

Check if the transmitter and the
receiver use the same channel.
Check if the volume of the
transmitter or receiver is too low.
Check if the distance between
transmitter and receiver is too far.
Check if the transmitter and the
receiver are too close to metal
objects.
Sound interference
If there are two or more
transmitters in use, select
different channels for each
transmitter.
Check if there are other
transmitters near by and change
to a different channel.
Aux distortion
