4 Safety Precautions
4.1 Before using this product, please read this manual carefully.
4.2 Use necessary anti-static protective measures when touching this product. For example, the un-used
motherboard should be put in an anti-static bag, and wear antistatic gloves before touching the product. The
environment is not allowed to have leaks, and be sure to put in place where is not easy to produce static
electricity.
4.3 Do not strike the product with force to avoid damage to sensitive internal electronic components.
4.4 Before connecting cable line, and make sure there is correct signal.
4.5 Before installing or removing the internal equipment of this product, please be sure to unplug the external
power plug.
4.6 Please confirm input power adapter into the power supply is in line with the use of regional or national
standards.

5 Product Introduction
TB-587 uses FPGA and is designed with the base of effective time and logic judgment, it offers 4 x
lighting connector, 4 x trigger in4 x trigger out, 8 x DI 8 x DO isolation, NPN/PNP mode Selection. It is
used widely in vision inspection business in industrial automation field, and can extremely enhance the
production effectiveness and product quality.

1. FPGA(Inner):

2. DC_IN1 (Internal) option:
(Pitch 5.08mm 1x2 Pin Connector), DC24-36V power input for Lighting using. Before plug in this
Phoenix Connector, please make sure that the power polarity is correct. The more Power
consumption for system, the high power adapter will be needed. Short of power supply will let the
system unstable or work abnormally.

4. SW1 (TB-587, Internal of the expansion card):
Dip switch Pin1 to 4 and Pin6 are reserved for debug use.
Pin5 is set for FPGA function setting choice, choose ON for NPN mode (default); choose OFF for
PNP mode.
This setting is for developer, it is not allowed for user operation under normal condition, if you
need to update the program, please contact your sales or agent window for technical support.

5. PWR_SW (TB-587, Internal):
Dip switch, PIN1~PIN4 are uses for lighting source output control interfaces. Set OFF to control
output mode via software; set ON to control output mode (Lighting will always ON) via
hardware. Default mode is OFF, to set via software.

6. External Trigger/Lighting Source Output Control Interface (LIGHTING_OUT, External):
(Pitch2.5mm 1x2 Pin Connector, PN#H510M02 Terminal), +DC14~24V Output, maximum power
supply up to 60 Watt for total; single channel power supply up to 30 Watt. DC level adjustable
mode should be concerned with high-level shaking situation.
* Power input for lighting using shall be higher than 80 Watts, and the output voltage shall be
between +DC24V~36V. *
