Installing the GrimmSpeed 2018 Subaru WRX Pulley Cover

Introduction:

This guide will illustrate the installation of the GrimmSpeed Subaru WRX Pulley Cover. The difficulty here is low, so take

your time and enjoy the job! Install time is around 15 min

Tools:

The tools listed below are suggested for this task. Optional tools are noted.

• 10mm Socket Wrench

• 5mm Allen Wrench

• Flathead Screw Driver

Tips: Be careful; not to drop the Hood on yourself or your hands or fingers during the installation!

STOCK OEM GRIMMSPEED

Procedure:

1. Begin by collecting your tools and popping you hood.

2. First, we need to rermove the engine cover.

Begin by popping the two clips from the top of the engine cover. This can be done by using a flathead screw driver to pry

the clips up.

Lift up on the bottom of the engine cover to pop the cover off. This may take a little bit of force to take off.

3. Once the engine cover is removed, we need to remove the bracket the OEM cover popped into.

There are two bolts that hold this bracket on. (pictured below)

Remove these bolts to take off the bracket. These holes will be the mounting points for your new GrimmSpeed Pulley Cover

4. Your Pulley Cover Kit comes with two 5mm allens bolts, two washers, and two spacers that you will use for the install

Assemble your cover with the included hardware like the diagram above.

5. Thread each allen bolt into the hole loosely to ensure proper fitment before tightening them down.

Take your time and be careful not to drop any hardware into the engine bay.

6. Enjoy your new GrimmSpeed Pulley Cover!
