CAME SIRUSB is a programming kit that allows you to program CP control units and monochrome touch screens via a personal computer. The kit includes:

SWLINK software CD
Male/Female serial cable
Female/Female serial converter
USB/serial converter cable

With SWLINK, you can:

Program the control unit
Read the configuration
Read the event log
Monitor the general system status

If your PC does not have COM ports, you can use the USB/serial converter included in the kit. You may also need to install the drivers contained on the CD.

Il Kit SIRUSB permette la programmazione, via Personal Computer, delle centrali CP4020,

CP4060, CP8192 e dei Touch Screen monocromatici.

Il Kit comprende:

• CD software SWLINK

• Cavo seriale Maschio/Femmina

• Convertitore seriale Femmina/Femmina

• Cavo convertitore USB/seriale

INSTALLAZIONE su Personal Computer

Il software SWLINK utilizza le porte seriali COM del Personal Computer per comunicare con

i dispositivi.

Se il Personal Computer non è provvisto di porte COM, utilizzare il convertitore USB/seriale

contenuto nel Kit. Se necessario, installare anche i relativi driver contenuti nel CD.

Se si usano altre tipologie di convertitori, la comunicazione tra Personal Computer e

centrale potrebbe essere compromessa.

Al termine dell’installazione il Personal Computer avrà aggiunto una COM nei suoi dispositivi,

il cui indirizzo (COMxy) verrà richiesto al lancio del software SWLINK.

PROGRAMMAZIONE delle CENTRALI

1. Installare il software SWLINK dal CD sul Personal Computer ;

2. collegare la centrale CP al Personal Computer con il cavo seriale e, se necessario,

con il cavo convertitore

3. procedere con le istruzioni riportate nel Manuale installazione delle centrali CP al

capitolo relativo.

Con SWLINK è possibile programmare la centrale, leggere la conﬁ gurazione, leggere lo

storico eventi e monitorare lo stato generale dell’impianto.

PROGRAMMAZIONE dei TOUCH SCREEN

1. Installare il software SWMAPA scaricandolo gratuitamente dal sito www.came.it;

2. collegare l’interfaccia TS232 al Touch Screen (se non è MASTER);

3. connettere il Touch Screen al Personal Computer con il convertitore e, se necessa-

rio, con il cavo convertitore

4. procedere con le istruzioni riportate nell’Help del software SWMAPA.

È possibile programmare un Touch Screen direttamente anche dalla centrale CP. Per far

questo, il Touch Screen deve essere collegato alla centrale CP tramite l’interfaccia TS232,

divenendo di conseguenza un Touch Screen MASTER.

INSTALLING on a PC

The SWLINK software uses the COM serial ports on the PC to communicate with the devices.

If the PC does not have COM ports, use the USB/serial converter included in the kit. If neces-

sary, also install the drivers contained on the CD.

If other types of converter are used, communication between the PC and the control unit

may be compromised.

After installation is complete, the PC will have added a COM to its devices, whose address

(COMxy) will be requested at the launch of the SWLINK software.

PROGRAMMING the CONTROL UNITS

1. Install the SWLINK software from the CD onto the PC;

2. connect the CP to the PC using the serial cable and, if necessary, the converter

cable

3. follow the instructions in the related chapter of the CP control unit installation manual.

Using SWLINK, it is possible to program the control unit, read the conﬁ guration, read the

event log and monitor the general system status.

PROGRAMMING the TOUCHSCREENS

1. Install the SWMAPA software, downloading it free of charge from www.came.it;

2. connect the TS232 interface to the touchscreen (unless it is the MASTER);

3. connect the touchscreen to the PC using the converter and, if necessary, the

converter cable

4. follow the instructions shown in the SWMAPA software Help.

A touchscreen can also be programmed directly from the CP control unit. To do this, the

touchscreen must be connected to the CP control unit via the TS232 interface, becoming a

MASTER touchscreen as a result.

Le Kit SIRUSB permet la programmation, par ordinateur personnel, des centrales CP4020,

Le logiciel SWLINK utilise les ports série COM de l'ordinateur personnel pour communiquer

Au terme de l'installation, le PC aura ajouté un port COM dans ses dispositifs, dont l'adresse

(COMxy) sera demandée au lancement du logiciel SWLINK.

PROGRAMMATION des CENTRALES

1. Installer le logiciel SWLINK du CD sur le PC ;

2. connecter la centrale CP à l'ordinateur au moyen du câble série et, si nécessaire,

du câble convertisseur

3. suivre les instructions fournies dans le Manuel d'installation des centrales CP au

chapitre correspondant.

SWLINK permet de programmer la centrale, de lire la conﬁ guration ainsi que l'historique des

événements et de contrôler l'état général de l'installation.

PROGRAMMATION des ÉCRANS TACTILES

1. Installer le logiciel SWMAPA après l'avoir téléchargé gratuitement sur le site www.

came.it ;

2. connecter l'interface TS232 à l'écran tactile (s'il n'est pas MAÎTRE) ;

3. connecter l'écran tactile au PC au moyen du convertisseur et, si nécessaire, du

câble convertisseur

4. suivre les instructions fournies dans l'Aide du logiciel SWMAPA.

Il est également possible de programmer un écran tactile directement depuis la centrale

CP. Pour ce faire, il faut le connecter à la centrale CP par le biais de l'interface TS232.

L'écran tactile devient ainsi un écran tactile MAÎTRE.

Si el Personal Computer no cuenta con puertos COM, utilizar el convertidor USB/serie conte-

nido en el Kit. Si fuera necesario, instalar también los correspondientes driver contenidos en el CD.

Si se usan otros tipos de convertidores, la comunicación entre Personal Computer y

central podría comprometerse.

Finalizada la instalación, el Personal Computer habrá añadido una COM en sus dispositivos

cuya dirección (COMxy) será requerida con el lanzamiento del software SWLINK.

PROGRAMACIÓN de las CENTRALES

1. Instalar el software SWLINK desde el CD en el Personal Computer:

Es posible programar un Touch Screen directamente también desde la central CP. Para

hacer esto, el Touch Screen debe ser conectado a la central CP mediante la interfaz TS232,

transformándose por consiguiente en un Touch Screen MASTER.

instale também os drivers relativos contidos no CD.

Caso sejam usadas outras tipologias de conversores, a comunicação entre PC e central

pode ser prejudicada.

Ao terminar a instalação, o PC terá adicionado uma COM nos seus dispositivos, cujo ende-

reço (COMxy) será pedido ao lançar o software SWLINK.

PROGRAMAÇÃO das CENTRAIS

1. Instale o software SWLink a partir do CD no Personal Computer ;

2. Ligue a central CP ao Personal Computer com o cabo e, se necessário, com o

cabo conversor

3. proceda com as instruções indicadas no Manual de instalação das centrais CP no

capítulo relativo.

Com SWLINK é possível programar a central, ler a conﬁ guração, ler o histórico de eventos e

monitorar de estado da instalação.

1. Instale o software SWMAPA por meio do download gratuito do site www.came.it;

2. ligue a interface TS232 ao Touch Screen (se não for MASTER);

3. ligue o Touch Screen ao Personal Computer com o conversor e, se necessário,

com o cabo conversor

4. proceda com as instruções indicadas no Help do software SWMAPA.

É possível programar directamente também pela central CP um Touch Screen. Para

isto, o Touch Screen deve estar ligado à central CP através da interface TS232, a tornar-se

portanto um Touch Screen MASTER.
