King Canada makes every effort to ensure that this product meets high quality and durability standards. King Canada warrants to the
original retail consumer a 2-year limited warranty as of the date the product was purchased at retail and that each product is free from
defects in materials. Warranty does not apply to defects due directly or indirectly to misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, negligence
or accidents, repairs done by an unauthorized service centre, alterations and lack of maintenance. King Canada shall in no event be
liable for death, injuries to persons or property or for incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
To take advantage of this limited warranty, return the product at your expense together with your dated proof of purchase to an
authorized King Canada service centre. Contact your retailer or visit our web site at www.kingcanada.com for an updated listing of our
authorized service centres. In cooperation with our authorized serviced centre, King Canada will either repair or replace the product if
any part or parts covered under this warranty which examination proves to be defective in workmanship or material during the
warranty period.

ASSEMBLY & ADJUSTMENT
WARNING! IF ANY PART IS MISSING OR DAMAGED, DO NOT INSTALL
WOOD LATHE IN UNTIL YOU HAVE REPLACED THE MISSING OR
DAMAGED PART. For your safety, complete the assembly of the wood lathe
stand before attempting to install or operate.
ASSEMBLING STAND
1. Locate both bases with leveling feet (A) Fig.1 and the vertical posts (B)
and assemble them together using 2 hex. bolts, 4 washers and 2 hex.
nuts on each base.
2. Install the large horizontal post (C) Fig.1 to one of the vertical posts (B)
using 2 hex. bolts, 4 washers and 2 hex. nuts.
3. Install the small horizontal post (D) Fig.1 to the other vertical post (B)
using 2 hex. bolts, 4 washers and 2 hex. nuts.
4. Slide the small horizontal post (D) Fig.1 into the large horizontal post (C)
and tighten the 2 hex. bolts (E) on each side of the large horizontal post.
5. Before installing the support posts (F) Fig.1 to the vertical posts (B),
determine the desired height, then secure them using 2 hex. bolts, 4
washers and 2 hex. nuts on each vertical post.
LEVELING STAND
1. Position the stand in the location you plan on setting up your wood lathe.
Place a bubble level across the support posts (F) Fig.1. Make sure the
stand is perfectly level. If the stand is not level, an adjustment is
needed.
2. Loosen hex. nut (A) Fig.2, then turn hex. bolt (B) to adjust the height of
that corresponding corner. Once all 4 corners have been checked and
adjusted, retighten the hex. nuts (A) against the base of the stand.
INSTALLING WOOD LATHE ON STAND
This stand is designed to mount King Canada 10” x 16” Wood Lathe
(mod. KWL-1016C) or 12” x 18 Variable Speed Wood Lathe
(mod. KWL-1218VS) and a wide variety of other midi and mini wood
lathes.
This stand does not include hardware needed to secure your wood lathe to
the stand, depending on the model of wood lathe you have the following
hardware must be purchased.
Hardware needed to install 10” x 16” Wood Lathe (mod. KWL-1016C):
• 4 x Hex. bolts (3/8” x 16 x 30mm)
• 4 x Washers (M10)
Hardware needed to install 12” x 18Wood Lathe (mod. KWL-1218VS):
• 4 x Hex. bolts (M8 x 1.25 x 25mm)
• 4 x Washers (M8)
1. Remove the 4 rubber feet of your wood lathe and position wood lathe on both support posts (F) Fig.1. Secure wood lathe with purchased
hardware. Make sure stand and wood lathe hardware has been tightened properly to avoid unwanted vibrations.
