Operation guide
Pairing with your vehicle’s FM radio:
Plug the transmitter into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket
and it will automatically power on. Turn on the stereo system
and switch to FM radio mode. Manually scan through the
frequency to find an available channel, trying to make it as far
away from existing channels as possible to avoid interference.
Next, long press the call answer button to make the
channel frequency on the LED display flash, then navigate to
the same frequency as your car stereo using the frequency up
and down buttons on the unit.
Connecting to your smartphone using Bluetooth:
Enter your smartphone’s Bluetooth device list and search for
the pairing name “AV:Link-BTHF1” and select to pair, if
asked for a pairing code enter “0000”. Once paired you will
hear a confirmation tone and you are now able to make and
receive hands-free telephone calls using the microphone in the
transmitter and your car speakers for the incoming audio. To
answer a phone call, press the call answer button in the
centre of the unit once, to reject the call press it twice. To
redial the last number in your phone’s memory, press the call
answer button twice in no call status mode. You can also listen
to audio content on your smartphone using the inbuilt MP3
player. Use the track control buttons on top of the unit
to play/pause, move up and down the tracks or
control the master volume by long pressing accordingly.
Listening to music through the USB port:
The transmitter also has an inbuilt media player capable of playing MP3/WMA files from a USB drive inserted into the USB disk port.
Ensure the inserted media is no larger than 64GB in size and is formatted in FAT32 status, then use the track control buttons on the
top of the unit to play/pause, move up and down the tracks or control the master volume by long pressing accordingly.
