Use of a TV that is too heavy or large is hazardous. A TV that is too heavy will create a risk of a tip-over that can cause severe injury or
death. A TV that is too large for the available space might be accidentally pushed or bumped o the furniture, or subject to tip-over.
Check the size and weight of your TV. Compare it to the diagram below – before you begin assembly!
This Sauder unit is designed for use with televisions weighing less than 95 pounds. Never use with a TV that weighs more.
The size of the television, front-to-back and side-to-side, must fi t within the space defi ned in the diagram.
Never place the front edge of the TV past the front edge of the TV support shelf (or stop molding – if equipped)
Never allow the sides of the TV to extend past the side edges of the TV support surface.
• If the TV has a CRT picture tube, the picture tube cone may extend past the rear of the support shelf.
Be sure to apply the warning label as instructed in the last assembly step. The label provides important safety related information.

Assemble your unit on a carpeted fl oor or on the empty
carton to avoid scratching your unit or the fl oor.

Push thirty HIDDEN CAMS (Q2) into the ENDS (A),
UPRIGHTS (B and C), TOP (D), BOTTOM (E), SHELF (F),
and one set of LEGS (I and J). Then, insert twenty-two
CAM DOWELS (R2) into the HIDDEN CAMS.

of the ENDS.

Slide the RAILS (O and P) onto the ENDS (A). Line up the

Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (G) and lay it over your unit.
å
Fasten the BACK (G) to the LEGS (I and J). Use eight BROWN 7/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (II). Fasten the
remaining BACK (G) to your unit using the NAILS (KK).
å
NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the SHELF (F).
å
NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed.
å
Fasten the FOOT BASE (U) to the EXTENSION BLOCK (K). Use four BLACK 9/16” PAN HEAD SCREWS (GG).
Then, push the FOOT (T) into the FOOT BASE (U).
å
NOTE: Turn the adjustable end of the ADJUSTABLE FOOT completely in. Final adjustments will be made after
the unit is standing upright.

Carefully stand your unit upright.
å
Position your unit in its fi nal location. Turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (T) downward until it touches the fl oor.
å
IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the LEGS (I and J).
å
Fasten one of the DOORS (H) to the left END (A). Use the screws in the HINGES.
å
NOTE: You may need to loosen the mounting screw to slide it part way out of the slot. Retighten the screw before you
mount the HINGE to the END.
å
Fasten a PULL (X) to the DOOR (H). Use a WASHER (W) and a SILVER 1/4" MACHINE SCREW (JJ).
å
Peel a BUMPER from the BUMPER CARD (Y) and stick it on the DOOR where it comes in contact with the LOWER
UPRIGHT (C).

Repeat this step for the other door.

To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out.
å
To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS
up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.

To adjust the DOORS in or out (depth), loosen the mounting screw one turn and move the DOORS in or
out, as needed. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments.

Apply the WARNING LABEL (BB) to the TOP (D). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the
unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel o the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.

NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it.

ÉTAPE 1
Ne pas serrer les EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES dans
cette étape.
Assembler l’élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide
pour éviter d’endommager l’élément ou le sol.
Enfoncer trente EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (Q2) dans
les EXTRÉMITÉS (A), les MONTANTS (B et C), le DESSUS (D), le
DESSOUS (E), la TABLETTE (F) et un ensemble de
PIEDS (I et J). Insérer ensuite vingt-deux CHEVILLES
D'EXCENTRIQUE (R2) dans les
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
ÉTAPE 2
Serrer huit VIS D'EXCENTRIQUE (S2) dans les PIEDS (I et J).
Fixer les PIEDS (I et J) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A). Serrer quatre
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
Attention: Risque des dégâts ou blessures. Les Excentriques
Escamotables doivent être serrés à bloc. Les Excentriques
Escamotables que ne sont pas serrées à bloc peuvent desserrer
et les pièces peuvent séparer. Pour serrer à bloc, faire tourner
l'excentrique escamotable de 210 degrés.
ÉTAPE 6
Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (A), le MONTANT (B) et le PIED
AVANT GAUCHE/ARRIÈRE DROIT (J) au
DESSUS (D) et MOULURE D'ARRÊT (L). Serrer cinq
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
ÉTAPE 7
Fixer la TABLETTE (F) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (A). Serrer deux
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
Fixer la TABLETTE (F) au MONTANT (B). Utiliser deux VIS NOIRES
TÊTE PLATE 48 mm (DD).
Fixer le MONTANT INFÉRIEUR (C) à la TABLETTE (F). Serrer deux
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
ÉTAPE 3
Avec précaution, retourner les EXTRÉMITÉS (A).
Faire tourner huit VIS NOIRES TÊTE PLATE 14 mm (FF) dans les
EXTRÉMITÉS (A) jusqu’à ce que l’épaulement des TROUS repose
sur la surface des EXTRÉMITÉS.
Enfi ler les GLISSIÈRES (O et P) sur les EXTRÉMITÉS (A). Aligner
la rainure des GLISSIÈRES sur les têtes des VIS dans
les EXTRÉMITÉS.
ÉTAPE 8
Fixer le DESSOUS (E) à l'EXTRÉMITÉ GAUCHE (A). Serrer deux
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
Fixer le DESSOUS (E) au MONTANT INFÉRIEUR (C). Utiliser deux
VIS NOIRES TÊTE PLATE 48 mm (DD).
Enfi ler le SOCLE (N) sur le chant cranté du DESSOUS (E).
ÉTAPE 4
Avec précaution, retourner les EXTRÉMITÉS (A).
Fixer les PIEDS (I et J) aux EXTRÉMITÉS (A). Serrer quatre
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
Insérer deux CACHE-TROUS (AA) dans les trous
des PIEDS (I et J).
ÉTAPE 9
Fixer l'EXTRÉMITÉ DROITE (A) et le PIED AVANT DROIT/ARRIÈRE
GAUCHE (I) au DESSUS (D), DESSOUS (E), à la
TABLETTE (F) et MOULURE D'ARRÊT (L). Serrer sept
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSUS (M) sur la MOULURE
D'ARRÊT (L). Utiliser trois VIS MARRON TÊTE PLATE 38 mm (EE).
Fixer les BLOCS D'EXTENSION (K) au DESSOUS (E). Utiliser
quatre VIS NOIRES TÊTE LARGE 63 mm (CC).
ÉTAPE 5
Fixer la MOULURE D'ARRÊT (L) au DESSUS (D). Serrer quatre
EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
