Plow is not funcƟoning:
1. ConĮrm the main power and control wire plugs are clean and properly connected
2. ConĮrm the control wire is properly connected to the hand held control.
3. ConĮrm that the main power inline breaker was not accidently tripped. Press the red buƩon on top
and push the trip wing back in to reset
Not the Įrst three…
4. Do a quick test of the hand held control, standing between the snowplow and the vehicle on the
passenger’s side unplug the grey control wire at the rubber plug assembly, leave the main power plug
connected, with the
use of needle noise pliers perform the two operĂƟons shown below on the plow
side of the plug. Try raising Įrst and the pump should run, then lower.
To raise the plow… To lower the plow…
A - If the plow operates there is an issue with the control or control wire, check the wire carefully to make sure
it
is not cut or pinched, remove and reconnect the wire from the boƩom of the hand held control, re-connect the
control wire to the plow and re-test.

B - If the plow did not operate during the jumper test, check the small 10amp in line fuse down by the pump
motor.
If the fuse is ok remove the pump guard and with the use of a voltage tester conĮƌŵ that there is 12volts on the
main terminal where the red power lead is connected on the solenoid. If there is 12V supply try the next test to
see if the control wire is defecƟve. Remove the cap on the main power feed and the green control wire from the
solenoid. Jumper from main power to the open terminal.
If the pumps runs there is an issue in the control wire on the plow.
If the pump does not run, try this next step to test the solenoid
If the motor runs t
he solenoid is faulty, if the motor does not run the motor is faulty.
