Zu Beginn

Systemanforderungen

Um die Szenerie „Mega Airport Rom“ möglichst störungsfrei ﬂiegen

zu können, benötigen Sie:

• Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 10

• Microsoft Flight Simulator X mit Service Pack 2 oder Prepar 3D

v2.5

• 3 GHz Dual Core Prozessor

• 2 GB RAM (4 GB empfohlen)

• 3D Graﬁkkarte mit mindestens 1024 MB (2 GB empfohlen)

Die Software, das Handbuch und sonstiges zugehöriges Material ist

durch Urheberrechtsgesetze geschützt. Die Software wird lizenziert,

nicht verkauft. Sie dürfen eine Kopie der Software auf einem

Computer für Ihre persönliche, nichtkommerzielle Nutzung installieren

und ausführen. Die Software, das Handbuch und alle anderen

zugehörigen Materialien dürfen ohne vorherige, schriftliche Erlaubnis

Installation

Zur Installation von „Mega Airport Rom“ benötigen Sie eine

Seriennummer bzw. Ihren Registrierungsschlüssel. Die Seriennummer

ﬁnden Sie in der DVD-Verpackung, der Registrierschlüssel für die

Downloadversion wurde Ihnen mit der Bestätigungsmail unseres

Download-Shops zugesandt! Bewahren Sie diese sicher auf, sie werden

bei einer erneuten Installation wieder benötigt.

Sie müssen als Systemadministrator angemeldet sein, bevor Sie mit der

Installation beginnen. Um die Installation zu beginnen, legen Sie die DVD

in Ihr DVD-Laufwerk ein bzw. starten Sie einfach die Download-Datei,

wenn Sie die Downloadversion erworben haben.

Nach der Sprachauswahl erscheinen zunächst einige Informationen und

die Lizenzbedingungen. Lesen Sie die Informationen bitte sorgfältig. Sie

müssen den Lizenzbedingungen zustimmen, um mit der Installation

fortfahren zu können.

Klicken Sie anschließend auf „Weiter“.

Danach werden Sie zur Eingabe der Registrierdaten aufgefordert. Bitte

geben Sie diese Daten genauso ein, wie sie auf dem Etikett abgedruckt

bzw. in der Bestätigungsmail unseres Shops enthalten sind.

Anschließend wird der Installationsordner automatisch gesucht. Möchten

Sie das Programm in einen anderen Ordner als den vorgeschlagenen

installieren, klicken Sie auf „Ändern“ und geben Sie den gewünschten

Pfad dann ein.

Klicken Sie auf „Weiter“.

Es wird jetzt noch einmal eine Zusammenfassung der Installationsdaten

angezeigt. Klicken Sie auf „Weiter“, jetzt werden die Daten auf die

Festplatte kopiert.

Deinstallation

Um die Szenerie „Mega Airport Rom” wieder zu deinstallieren, klicken

Sie auf „Start” und dann „Systemsteuerung”. In der Systemsteuerung

gibt es ein Symbol „Programme und Funktionen”, welches Sie mit

einem Doppelklick anklicken. Sie erhalten eine Liste der installierten

Programme. Markieren Sie den Eintrag „aerosoft’s – Mega Airport

Rom”.

Nun meldet sich das Deinstallationsprogramm und entfernt alle

Dateien von Ihrer Festplatte. Die Einträge in der FS Szeneriebibliothek

werden ebenfalls entfernt.

Über den Flughafen

Der Flughafen Fiumicino – Leonardo da Vinci International (ital.:

Fiumicino – Aeroporto Internazionale Leonardo da Vinci) (IATA: FCO,

ICAO: LIRF) oder Rom-Fiumicino Airport, auch einfacher bekannt als

Fiumicino Airport, ist ein wichtiger internationaler Flughafen in Rom,

Italien. Er ist außerdem einer der nach Passagierzahlen geschäftigsten

Flughäfen Europas mit etwa 38,6 Millionen Passagieren im Jahr 2014.

Er liegt bei Fiumicino, 18,9 nautische Meilen (35 km; 27,1 mi)

südwestlich von Roms historischem Stadtkern.

Der Flughafen dient als Hauptdrehkreuz für Alitalia, Italiens größte

Fluggesellschaft, und Vueling, einem spanischen Billiganbieter, der zur

International Airlines Group gehört. Nach Gesamtpassagierzahlen ist er

der achtgrößte Flughafen Europas und war 2013 weltweit auf Rang

34. Er umfasst eine Fläche von 29km² und wurde nach dem

bekannten Universalgenie Leonardo da Vinci benannt, der den ersten

Helikopter-Prototypen sowie eine Flugmaschine mit Flügeln im Jahr

1480 entwickelte.

Tools zur Anpassung

Um die Szenerie „Mega Airport Rom“ optimal an die Leistungsfähig-

keit des eigenen PC anpassen zu können, haben wir verschiedene

Tools beigefügt. Damit können Sie verschiedene Parameter verändern.

Die Tools sind über die entsprechenden Verknüpfungen im Windows-

Startmenü abrufbar.

Resolution-Tool

Mit dem Resolution-Tool können Sie auswählen, ob Texturen in hoher

Auﬂösung oder in Standardauﬂösung verwendet werden sollen.

Hochaufgelöste Texturen benötigen mehr Speicher, was besonders

beim Einsatz komplexer Flugzeuge wie dem Aerosoft Airbus oder den

PMDG-Airlinern zum Speicherüberlauf führen kann

3D Gras

Hier haben Sie die Option 3D Gras auf den Rasenﬂächen an oder

abzuwählen. Bei leistungsschwachen Rechnern empfehlen wir das 3D

Gras abzuwählen.

Statische Flugzeuge

Hier können Sie statische Flugzeuge auf dem Airport an- oder abwäh-

len.

Animierte Jetways

Einige der Jetways werden mithilfe des SODE-Systems animiert.

Sie können das SODE-Fenster öffnen, indem Sie TAB+S oder

UMSCHALT+„-“ drücken. Dann können Sie jedes Gate zum Andocken

auswählen, dass im Flughafenbereich verfügbar ist.

Um die Türen/Jetways perfekt aufeinander abzustimmen, öffnen Sie

den Abschnitt [Exits] in der Datei aircraft.cfg.

Beispiel anhand des Airbus A319 von Aerosoft:

exit.0 = 0.4, 32.0, -5.5, -3.0, 0 […]

-3.0 ist der Parameter der Haupttürhöhe.

Dies ist ein Beispiel anhand des A318 nach der Anpassung:

exit.0 = 0.4, 30.5, -5.5, -1.6, 0

exit.1 = 0.4, 30.5, -5.5, -1.6, 0

Diese Position ist perfekt zum Andocken an Jetways.

To fully enjoy the scenery “Mega Airport Rome“ we recommend the

following:

related materials are protected by copyright laws. The software is

licensed, not sold. You may install and run one copy of the software

on one computer for your personal, non-commercial use. The

software, the manual and all related materials must not be copied,

to any electronic medium or machine legible form, neither completely

nor in part, without the previous written permission of AEROSOFT

Installation

You have to be logged in with administrator rights before you start the

installation of “Mega Airport Rome“.

To start the installation of “Mega Airport Rome” simply insert the DVD

into your DVD drive or run the ﬁle you downloaded from your shop

account.

After you have chosen your preferred installation language, the

welcome screen appears and you will be presented with some

important information and the license agreement. Please read it

carefully.

You will be asked to insert your email address and your registration

key. Please insert it exactly the way it was written on the label or in the

conﬁrmation mail you received from your download shop.

Please keep your registration key on a safe place, you will need it

again if a new installation will be necessary.

The installation program will attempt to locate the correct path. If you

wish to install to another location, then you will have to enter the

correct path for installation manually. In order to do this, click on

“Browse“ and navigate to the correct path. Before the installation

program starts to copy the ﬁles onto your hard disc, you will be

presented with all the installation details.

The installation program will now copy all of the “Mega Airport

Rome” ﬁles onto your hard disk.

If you want to make any changes or to install any updates for this

program you will need the DVD or the installation ﬁle from the

download shop and your registration key again.

To run „Mega Airport Rome“ click on the new program icon on your

Windows desktop.

Removing

In order to fully remove “Mega Airport Rome” run the Aerosoft-

Launcher. Change to the “Library“ and select “Mega Airport Rome” in

the “Scenery“ category. The information about “Mega Airport Rome”

will appear.

Click on the „Uninstall“ button. The installation program will start to

remove the program from your hard disk.

General information

Fiumicino – Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (Italian: Fiumicino

– Aeroporto Internazionale Leonardo da Vinci) (IATA: FCO, ICAO: LIRF)

or Rome Fiumicino Airport, also simply known as Fiumicino Airport, is a

major international airport in Rome, Italy. It is one of the busiest airports

in Europe by passenger trafﬁc with 38.6 million passengers served in

2014. It is located in Fiumicino, 18.9 nautical miles (35.0 km; 21.7 mi)

southwest of Rome’s historic city centre.

The airport serves as the main hub for Alitalia, the largest Italian airline

and Vueling, a Spanish low-cost carrier owned by International Airlines

Group. Based on total passenger numbers, it is the eighth busiest airport

in Europe and was the world’s 34th busiest airport in 2013. It covers an

area of 29 square kilometres (7,200 acres) and is named after the most

recognized polymath Leonardo da Vinci, who designed the ﬁrst proto

helicopter and a ﬂying machine with wings in 1480.

Setting Tools

We included tools to allow optimization on some parameters accor-

ding to the performance of the user PC. You can access these tools via

the windows start menu.

Resolution Tool

The resolution tool can change textures to standard resolution or to

textures with high resolution. If you select high resolution textures

please keep in mind that high resolution textures will have a higher

memory consumption than standard textures. This may cause out-of-

memory errors when using high performance aircraft like the Aerosoft

Airbus or the PMDG airliners.

3D Grass

This option let´s you select or de-select 3D grass on the airport. We

recommend to de-select it for less powerful machines.

Static Aircraft

Select if you want to have static aircraft parked at the airport.

Animated jetways

Some of the jetways are animated by using SODE system.

You can open SODE window by using TAB+S button, or SHIFT + “-“.

Then you may select any gate you want to dock that is available in the

aircraft area.

To adjust doors/jetway position for perfect match please check your

aircraft.cfg ﬁle under [Exits] section.

Example on A319 Airbus from Aerosoft:

-3.0 is a parameter of main door height.

This is an example of exits from A318 (after adjusting):

This position is perfect for jetway docking.
