Germanica GSC-50

Germanica GSC-50 is a cordless spot cleaner intended for household use only. The cleaner has a 9VDC 0.5A input rating, working power of 50W, and a rechargeable Li-ion battery with 7.4VDC 2000mAh capacity. It has a working time of up to 15 minutes and dimensions of 388 (w) x 112 (d) x 175 (h) mm.

Read this manual thoroughly before you start using the product.
The safety precautions instructions reduces the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury when correctly complied to.
Please follow all instructions and take notice of all warnings.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
GENERAL SAFETY
• This product is intended for household use only. Do not use the product
outdoors.
• Do not use this product for anything other than its intended purpose, and only
use it as described in these operating instructions.
• Always switch o the appliance first when you have finished, before connecting
or changing accessories and before cleaning the appliance.
• This appliance is not a toy; make sure children do not play with it. Cleaning
and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance out of reach of children less than 8
years. Close attention is necessary when using the product near children.
• Only use the appliance with the accessories provided by the manufacturer.
Improper installation and the use of accessory attachments not recommended
by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, personal injury
and/or damage to the unit.
• Always switch o and disconnect power from power adapter before
changing accessories.
• Fill the water tank only with tap water. In hard water areas, the use of distilled
or demineralised water is recommended as it will help prevent the build-up
of sediments.
• Do not use aromatic or alcohol-based products or descaling agents in the
product water tank because these can damage the product.
• Never stick any objects in the openings. Do not use the device if the openings
are blocked.
• The water tank must be filled before connecting the appliance to the power
supply. The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before
emptying or refilling the water tank. Empty the tank after use.

The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction on the use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Do not allow
children to clean the product or perform user maintenance.
Maintain the product in a clean condition to avoid deterioration, which could
aect its working life and result in a hazard risk.
We accept no liability for any eventual damages due to improper use, incorrect
handling or non compliance with these instructions.
• Do not open the tank cap during use.
• Keep the appliance away from heat sources (radiator, oven etc.), direct sunlight,
moisture and sharp edges.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. Do not rest the appliance on stairs
when it is not in use.
• After use, store the appliance indoors in a cool, dry place.
• Never remove parts (such as screws, etc.) from the appliance. Otherwise, you
may risk damaging the unit and voiding your warranty. In case of damage or
malfunction, contact our after sales support centre for advice.
• All repairs and service work, may only be conducted by an authorised
technician. It is hazardous for anyone other than a competent person to carry
out any service or repair operation that involves the removal of a cover which
gives protection against exposure to electrical parts.
• This machine is mainly suitable for cleaning floors, such as removal of
domestic liquid stains and suction of liquid stains sprayed with water.
• To fill clean water into the water tank, close the charging interface sealing cover
to prevent water from permeating into the machine. Clean water uses tap
water or pure water, or the liquid cleanser is filled to prevent the nozzle
from clogging.
• Do not suck dry objects such as dust directly, and spray them with water
before suction.
• This machine is not suitable for suction of corrosive liquid, organic solvents,
solids, construction waste and industrial metal waste.
• Please put the product and all accessories in a dry and cool place.

UNPACKING
UNPACKING
When unpacking the product, be sure to keep all the packaging materials
until you have made sure your new product is undamaged and in good
working order. This product has been packaging to protect itself
against transportation.
Be sure to remove all packaging materials around the product and that
the plastic film used is also removed.
CAUTION: Plastic wrapping can be a suffocation hazard for babies and young
children. Make sure all packaging materials are out of reach for children and
that they are disposed of correctly.

HOW TO USE
Before using the product, make sure to completely charge it. Therefore you can
get proper use of the product portability. Please see below points follow by steps
on how to use.
- To fill clean water into the water tank, close the charging interface sealing
cover to prevent water from permeating into the machine. Clean water uses
tap water or pure water, or the liquid cleanser is filled to prevent the nozzle
from clogging.
- Do not suck dry objects such as dust directly, and spray them with water
before suction.
- This machine is not suitable for suction of corrosive liquid, organic solvents,
solids, construction waste and industrial metal waste.
1. MAKE SURE TO FILL WATER TANK WITH WATER.
You can do this by disconnected the water tank located at the bottom of the
spot cleaner. Then fill it up with water by opening water tank cover.
2. TURN ON POWER SWITCH
Check whether all accessories are installed properly before starting product; with
the power switch pressed, the blue light is on and the machine will work. With
this switch pressed again, the machine stops.

3. WATER SPRAY SWITCH
To clean with water, fill the clean water to the highest level in the tank. After
starting the machine, with the water spray switch always pressed, water will
be continuously sprayed forwards; with the key released, the machine will stop
spraying water. Then vacuum up the water for cleaning.
4. HOW TO CHARGE
When the product is charging: The green power light will be on and flash in turn;
if the machine is fully charged, those three lights will be always on
without flashing, and then will be off after 30 minutes. The charging time is
within 4 hours.
5. CLEAN THE WATER DRAIN TANK
When the drain water in the water tank reaches the maximum capacity
(maximum capacity positions in both the horizontal and vertical directions), take
the drain water tank from the host and open the outlet cover of drain water tank
to pour drain water; how to take out the drain water tank: press the latch forcibly
in the arrow direction, and pull the drain water tank out until the drain water tank
is separated from host.
The procedure of filling clean water is same as that of taking out drain water
tank.
Note: 1. Please note to distinguish the clean water and the drain water.
Before cleaning water tank, put the host vertically for 5 seconds, and then clean
the tank until drain water in the front water tank fully enters into the drain tank.

6. HOW TO CLEAN SUCTION COVER
If found that the removal of stains inside the suction cover is required, press the
buttons at both sides of the suction cover, pull the cover forcibly outwards and
downwards according to the arrow indication; install the suction cover back to
the original position after cleaning.
NOTE: Please remove stains/dirt often if found to prevent the air duct
from clogging.
- Please turn off the power before the cleaning and maintenance of this product.
- Do not immerse or spray product with water for cleaning.
- Please clean it gently with a clean soft cloth damp with clean water.
- Do not clean product with strongly irritant cleaning liquid such as gasoline,
alcohol, and corrosive cleaners.
