1) Pass xture wires from main body[N] through 9.5-inch tube[P] and screw
tube onto threads protruding at top of main body.
2) Pass xture wires from 9.5-inch tube through 4.5-inch tube[Q] and screw
tube into top of 9.5-inch tube.
3) Pass xture wires through desired number of stems[A] and screw stems
together using supplied short threaded tubes[B].
NOTE: A minimum of one (1) 12-inch stem must be used when mounng
xture. Pass xture wire through remaining stems and screw stems together.
NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem threads as
noted with symbol (4) to prevent accidental rotaon of xture during
cleaning, relamping, etc.
4) Screw rst stem into coupling aached to 4.5-inch tube[Q].
5) Pass xture wires from last stem through swivel[K]. Swivel should be
installed with the longer end hanging down towards the mounng stems.
6) Screw longer end of swivel into end of last stem.
Note direcon of swivel in accordance with ceiling. If swivel is not yet
installed, follow steps 7, 8 & 9. If swivel is already installed, go to step 10.
7) Pass xture wire through hole in canopy[G]. Pass threaded pipe on end of
swivel up through hole in canopy.
8) Pass xture wire through lockwasher[D] . Thread lockwasher onto end of
threaded pipe protruding from inside canopy.
9) Pass xture wire through hexnut[E]. Thread hexnut onto end of threaded
pipe.
NOTE: Fixture wires should not be cut shorter than 20 inches from above the
canopy.
10) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng strap[F]. Assemble
mounng screws[M] into threaded holes.
11) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[C] using the strap mounng screws[H].
Mounng strap can be adjusted to suit posion of xture.
12) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a hole and two raised
dimples, wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw,
and thread into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided,aach ground wire from
outlet box under cupped washer and green ground screw, then thread
into mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture ground wire to outlet
box ground wire with wire connector aer following the above steps. Never
connect ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
13) Make wire connecons. Reference chart below for correct connecons and
wire accordingly.

14) Push xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws through holes in
canopy[G]. NOTE: Be certain wires do not get pinched between mounng
strap and canopy, or canopy and ceiling.
15) Use knobs[J] and lockwashers[I] to secure canopy. Tighten to secure.
16) Screw lower decorave tube[R] onto threads protruding from boom of
main body[N].
17) Lower glass[L] down over socket. Secure glass to socket by screwing socket
ring[O] onto threads on outside of socket. Repeat for remaining glass pieces.
18) Insert recommended bulbs. (Not supplied).

requirements, installaon by a cered electrician is recommended.

• Only a so damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage
