oilbecausetheycandamagethehoseand
contaminatethesystem.
5.Attachthettingontheendofthelongersupply
hosesectiontothetee.
6.Attachthettingontheendoftheshortersupply
hosesectiontotheboomvalveassembly.
7.Attachtheowmeterbrackettotherearoftheboom
valvemountingbracketusing2angeheadscrews
(1/4in.)andangenuts.
8.Assemblethegasketsandbarbedttingsonthe
hosestotheowmeterusing2wormscrewclamps

thesideoftheowmeterandensurethatthe

9.Securetheowmetertothehoseswith2-inchworm
screwclamps.

andmustoperatewiththeboombypassvalvesclosed.
Important:Beforeoperatingthespraysystemwith
theconsolecomputer,closeallbypassesonyour
boomvalvesbyturningintheredadjustmentknob
atthebottomoftheboomvalvesclockwiseasfar
aspossible.

bracketuntilitfacesthedesiredposition.Tighten
thefastenersinstalledpreviously.
10.Adjustthepivotangleoftheconsolefacetothe
desiredpositionandtightenthehandknobson
eithersideconsoletosecuretheposition.

1.Loosenthehoseclampsecuringtheboomsupply
hosetotherightanglebarbcomingfromtheright
sideoftheboomvalvemanifold.(Figure7).Remove
thehosefromthebarb.

intotheopenendoftheteesothatthebarband
hosepointdownward.Securetheassemblytothe
teewiththeforkremovedpreviously.
5.Movethevalvemanifoldassembly.Attachthe
owmeterbrackettotheopenplatebetweenthe
manifoldandthemaintank(
Figure7).Usetwo
angeheadscrews(1/4x3/4inch)andtwoange
nuts(1/4inch)tosecurethebrackettotheplate.

lubricant,suchasvegetableoil.Installthehose
ontotheboomvalveinletbarbttingcompletely
(
Figure9).
11.Slidetwohoseclampsontothehoseandrouteopen
endofthehosearoundtherightuprightofthe
boommountingframeuptotheinstalledowmeter
bracket.
Important:Hosesmayneedtobetrimmedto
avoidkinks.
12.Lightlylubricatetheopenbarbontheowmeterwith
anon-petroleumbasedlubricant,suchasvegetable
oil.Installtheopenendoftheroutedshorterhose
ontotheoutletbarbttingoftheowmeter.
13.Securetheshorterhosetothemanifoldand
owmeterrespectivelybyslidingthehoseclamps
intopositionsoverthebarbandtightening.
14.Securetheowmeterassemblytotheowmeter
bracketwithhoseclamps.
15.Locatethespraysystemwiringharnessroutedto
theboomvalvemanifold.Locatethecappedround
connectorlabeledowmeter.
16.Removethecaptoexposethethree-pinplugand
connectittothewirecomingfromtheowmeter.
Securethelockingringsanylockingringsifavailable.
Inspectallworktoensureallhoseclampsaretightened.
RemovingtheBoomBypassAssembly
Thissystemisdesignedtoworkwithadiaphragmpump
andoperateswithouttheboombypassassembly.
Important:Beforeoperatingthespraysystemwith
theconsolecomputer,theboombypassmanifold
mustberemoved.
1.Removethenutsecuringthebypasshosetting
totheboommanifold.Underthemaintank,
disconnecttheotherendofthehoseassemblyfrom
themaintank.Retainallfasteners.
Note:Retainallpartsfromthishoseassemblyso
theElectricHoseReelKitorSprayGunKitcanbe
properlyinstalledatalatertime.
