sprayer,resultinginseriousinjuryordeath

toyouorbystanders.

Alwayscheckthebrakesbeforeoperatingthe

sprayerandkeepthemproperlyadjustedand

repaired.

ParkingBrake

Theparkingbrakeisapedaltotheleftofthe

brakepedal(Figure13).Engagetheparkingbrake

wheneveryouleavetheseattopreventthesprayer

fromaccidentlymoving.Toengagetheparkingbrake,

pressthebrakepedalandwhileholdingthebrake,

presstheparking-brakepedal.Todisengage,press

andreleasethebrakepedal.Ifthesprayerisparked

onasteepgrade,applytheparkingbrakeandplace

chocksonthedownhillsideofthewheels.

IgnitionSwitch

Theignitionswitch(Figure12),isusedtostartand

shutofftheengine,andtheswitchhas3positions:

OFF,ON/PREHEAT,andSTART.

Speed-LockSwitch

Thespeed-lockswitchlocksthepositionofthe

tractionpedalwhentheswitchisset(Figure14).This

ensuresthatthesprayertravelsataconstantspeed

whiledrivingthemachineonlevelground.

lightontheswitchilluminates.Tooperatetheagitation

Theagitation-bypassvalveredirectstheowofuid

tothesprayer-systempumpwhenyouturnoffthe

agitationfunction(Figure17).Theagitation-bypass

valveislocatedabovetheagitationvalve.Youcan

adjustthebypassvalvetoensurethatthepressure

remainsconstantwhencyclingagitationonoroff;refer

toCalibratingtheAgitation-BypassValve(page31).
