SICK WTE11-2 is an optoelectronic sensor that can be used for optical, non-contact detection of objects, animals, and people. Proper use requires trained specialists for connection, mounting, and settings to be performed. When commissioning, protect the device from moisture and contamination. The device has a precise setting with long Teach-in time (> 8 s) for precise applications and small switching hysteresis. It features a blinking LED when the Teach-in function is in fine-tune mode.

The WTE11-2 photoelectric proximity sensor is an optoelectronic sensor and
is used for optical, non-contact detection of objects, animals, and people.
Starting Operation
WTE11-2, Teach-in function

Remove object, yellow LED indicator does not light up any longer
(noinuencefrombackground).Adjustmentiscompleted.
If yellow LED indicator light up anyhow

Position object and repeat Teach-in procedure again

SICK photoelectric sensors do not require any maintenance. We recom-
mendthatyoucleantheexternallenssurfacesandcheckthescrewcon-
nections and plug-in connections at regular intervals.
