Instructions:
Carton 1/2 and 2/2
The D69526 model is packed in two separate
cartons, carton 1/2 and 2/2. The pump kit is packed
in carton 1/2.

IMPORTANT Our fountain has been designed for easy assembly.
It should take a team of two people less than one hour to assemble.
Unboxing carton 1/2
Open carton 1/2, remove all items a
nd
carefully dispose of packing materials. Carton
1/2 contains pump, shims, screwdriver and
pump’s Care and Instructions document.
Unboxing carton 2/2
Discard all packing materials and position
base in desired location for assembled fountain.
After removing base, from carton note the plastic
cord cap that covers the tube in center of base.
Remove this and set aside for later use.

lacing and preparing hose
Find notch on bottom
of base. Make sure the notch
is positioned towards the electrical source as the
pump cable and plug will come out of base
through this notch. Securely cover top of tube
with plastic cord cap that was included with base.

Find tube in center of base and thread plug end
and cable and pull out through notch in bottom of
base.
Tip
Leave approximately 24” of cord
and position so that cord and plug come out
of notch in base

onnecting & preparing the pump
Make sure red valve on braided hose is in
open position, in line with the hose as shown. Slide
clamp into place over braided hose and pump
connection aand tighten with screw driver.

With sphere in place as shown, lift sphere onto base
and have someone hold in position shown. Carefully
pick up pump making sure braided hose is attached
and secure to pump body and while holding braided
hose and pump positon pump into bottom of base.
Position sphere on top of base.
Final step
Center sphere on base so hole in top of sphere is
pointing straight up.
Fill with water from bottom of sphere, plug in and
enjoy.

Place the pump
IMPORTANT
Check and adjust water level periodically,
Due to
evaporation, clean water must be added periodically. Failing to do
so could cause the water pump to run dry, resulting in a damaged pump.
Damage to the water pump due to an inadequate water level in the fountain
base will void the limited warranty.
Winterization of Your Fountain -In colder climates, where temperatures can reach
below 32 degrees Fahrenheit on a regular basis, or where temperatures will drop
substantially below freezing, even for short periods of time, it is recommended that all
water be removed from the fountain kit during the cold months. Also, remove the water
pump by disconnecting the pump from the braided hose. Store the pump in a temperature-
controlled atmosphere (above freezing).
WARNING
NEVER REMOVE THE GROUND PIN FROM THE ELECTRICAL PLUG. FOR YOUR
PROTECTION, ALWAYS UNPLUG THE PUMP UNIT FROM ITS POWER SOURCE
BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING YOUR FOUNTAIN.
SHOULD THE UNIT APPEAR TO NOT BE WORKING PROPERLY, DO NOT REACH
FOR, REMOVE, OR DISASSEMBLE THE PUMP BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE
POWER.

While installing, keep children and pets out of reach.
Remember to make sure the plug is dry and clean before inserting into the outlet.
If having trouble with the water flowing evenly out of the sphere, or in the event
you need to level the surface of your fountain, use the included shims to even
out the water flow. To use the shims, place the shim{s} underneath the base
opposite the side that that is not flowing evenly. Once shim{s} are in position
break them off at the crease and this will hide the shim but keep the fountain
level.
Read the pump’s manual regarding water pressure control.
For electrical precautions, always use a properly grounded outlet.
