Sandstrom SANDSOLKB is a solar powered, wireless keyboard that can be used with any computer that has a USB port. It comes with a nano receiver that plugs into the computer's USB port, and the keyboard connects to the receiver wirelessly. Wireless Devices:
Before boarding any aircraft or packing a wireless
device in luggage that will be checked in, remove
the batteries from the wireless device.
Wireless devices can transmit radio frequency
(RF) energy, whenever batteries are installed and
the wireless device is turned on (If it has an On/
O switch).
Battery-Powered Devices:
Improper use of batteries may result in battery
uid leakage, overheating, or explosion.
Released battery uid is corrosive and may be
toxic. It can cause skin and eye burns, and is
harmful if swallowed.
• Don’t disassemble the keyboard or remove
any parts.
• Don’t immerse the keyboard in water or any
liquid.
• Don’t use the keyboard close to heat sources or
expose to high temperatures.
• Don’t use the keyboard where strong
electromagnetic waves are present. Strong
electromagnetic waves will cause damage to
the keyboard.
• Keep the keyboard away from direct sunlight,
moisture, dirt or abrasive chemical products
(cleaning products etc).

Unpacking
Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you
dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

Charging the Keyboard
Before you use the keyboard for the rst time you will need to charge
its built-in battery. It will take upto 3 hours to fully charge.
Solar Charging
Place the keyboard in a well lit room and it will automatically start to
charge the battery.
USB Charging
If you are in low light conditions
you can plug the keyboard
into a USB port using the
Micro USB cable (supplied).
The battery status
indicator will ash
while charging.

Connections
Plug the Nano Receiver directly into your computer’s USB port.
Make sure the keboard is within 1m of the receiver and Switch
the keyboard on. Your computer will automatically recognise the
keyboard and connect to it. This may take a few seconds.
If you are not using the keyboard for a long period of time switch it

Function Keys
1. opens your media player.
2. reduces the volume.
3. increases the volume.
4. mutes the volume.
5. skips tracks backwards.
6. skips tracks forwards.

To activate the function keys press the Fn key and the required function
key at the same time.

Hints and Tips
Keyboard Not Working:
1. Ensure that the power switch is in the ON position.
2. Make sure the Nano Receiver is plugged into a USB and the
computer is on.
3. The keyboard didn’t automaticaly connect, press the CONNECT
button on the back of the keyboard and wait for the red light to
go o.
4. Ensure the battery is charged, if the light level is low connect the
micro USB cable to your computer, the battery will automatically
start to charge.
5. Remove metallic objects between the keyboard and the Nano
receiver.
6. If the Nano receiver is plugged into a USB hub, try plugging it
directly into the computer.
7. Move the keyboard closer to the receiver.
8. Restart the computer.
