for InFit 76X

1 Introduction

The METTER TOLEDO InFit 76X stationary housings

are intended for use in conjunction with specied

METTLER TOLEDOelectrodes/sensors,namely pHand

redox(ORP)combinationelectrodesaswellasdissolved

oxygen (DO), CO

2

, conductivity or turbidity sensors.

Please read through this quick set-up guide and the

operatinginstructionscarefullybeforecommissioning,in

order to ensure trouble-free use. Operating and

maintenance should be carried out only by trained

personnelandstaffwhohavereadandunderstoodthe

operatinginstructions.

2 Safety instructions

5 Operation: Inspection work

1. Visually check fastenings (ring nut, ange, NPT

thread)ofthehousingattheprocessconnectionfor

rmsealingandleaks.

6 Maintenance

1. Isolate the pipe/tank/vessel etc.from the housing

(depressurize,empty,rinse,purgeandvent,etc.).

2. Removethesensorfromthehousing.

3. Removethestationaryhousingfromthepipe/tank/ves-

seletc.(ifchangingofhousingsealisneeded).

5. Calibrate/cleantheelectrode/sensorwithreference

Werecommendedfollowingtheshutdownprocedureas

describedinthehousinginstructionmanual.Thecleaned

anddriedhousingshouldbestoredatroomtemperature.
