• Using the p or buttons, move the setpoint temperature a few degrees
below the ambient temperature. After a few moments you will hear a click
and the word COOL will change to COOLING. Verify that the cooling system is
on and operating correctly.
• Press the MODE button to turn the SMART 2000 OFF. After any necessary
timers have expired, all heating, cooling and fan functions should stop. Verify
that the system has shut down.
• Set the Time and Day.
– Press the PROG buon. The display will change to show the me of day with
the hour ashing. Press the p or buttons to choose the correct hour.
NOTE: If you are using the 12-hour clock settings, AM or PM will be selected.
– When the hour is correct, press the PROG button to set the minutes.
– When the minutes are correct, press the PROG button to set the day of the
week.
– Press the PROG button to return to operation.
Your SMART 2000 Thermostat is now operational. It will function as a
single setpoint, heating/cooling thermostat.
