Press and hold for radio presets (Page 8)
MUTE | Play/Pause
Press to mute (silence) audio. When muted,
the mute icon will appear in the top left
corner. To un-mute audio, press mute again
or adjust the volume with the knob.
When listening to digital music les, the
MUTE button will Pause/Play audio.

PAIRING A BLUETOOTH DEVICE
To select a Source
Press the [SOURCE] button.
Rotate the [M-KNOB] to cycle
through available sources.
Press the [M-KNOB] to select the
highlighted source

By default, the SPXM1 will be in Pairing Mode.
With the device in Discoverable Mode:
Open the Bluetooth Settings on the device
Select STINGER from the device list
Once pairing is complete a conrmation message will appear on SPXM1
NOTE: If STINGER does not apear in the list of available devices, conrm bluetooth is turned
on by pressing and holding the [MENU] button to access the global settings. ON should be
highlighted orange under BT Pairing.
Auto Connect
Once a device is paired, the SPXM1 will automatically connect to that
device whenever it is powered on and the device is within range.
There are 2 types settings, source specific and global. Source specific are settings pertaining to the
active source and can be accessed by pressing the [MENU] button while on that source. For example,
when listening to the radio, pressing the [MENU] button will access the FM Settings menu.
Global Settings are system settings that affect many sources and can be accesed on any source by
Pressing and Holding the [MENU] button.
Sources that are not currently available are not
selectable. For example, if there is nothing plugged
into the USB, then USB is not a selectable source.

NOTE! Tuning, Saving and Recalling
Presets functions are the the same for
all radio bands (AM/FM/Weather Band).

LOCAL [OFF/ON]
When set to ON, sets FM tuner sensitivity for LOCAL
(close proximity) radio stations.
AUTO STORE
Select to automatically set radio presets with available
radio stations.

AUX Input Accessory Control

NOTE! The AUX source is selectable even if there is no
device connected.
If a audio source is connected to the auxillary input (AUX),
press the [SOURCE] button and select AUX.
Volume can be controlled through the device and with
SPXM1 volume knob.
The SPXM1 is capable of controlling up to 4 external devices when
used in conjunction with the optional SwitchHUB (SPXSH440) four
output solid state switcher.
To access the controls, press the Accessory Control button
The SPXM1's camera input can be activated by a trigger wire
or accessed by selecting Camera as the source.
NOTE! The camera connected to the input must have power
for the video signal to be displayed.
Pressing and holding the Accessory Control button
will display the current battery voltage.
NOTE! The SPXM1 will display a WARNING message
when the battery voltage drops below 10.5 volts.
Rotate the [M-KNOB] to cycle through the four switch controls.
Press the [M-KNOB] to toggle the highlighted switch ON/OFF.
Rotate to cycle through the four switch controls.
Press to toggle the highlighted switch ON/OFF.

ACCESSORY CONTROL WIRING
The SPXM1 has 4 switchable outputs/triggers (FIG. A) that can
be used to control external accessories such as lighting, audio or
any other 12V accessory, when used with the optional SPXSH440
SwitchHub.
SWITCH 1-4 wires are 12V+ outputs and can activated individually
by accessing the ACCESSORY CONTROL source.
WARNING!
Accessory control outputs are 100mA. Do not connect directly to
any accessories or conventional relays. Failure to follow instruc-
tions may result in damage to equipment and void the device
warranty.
