Use this Guide if you have any questions on GS/GSe/GSe Pro/GSa/GSc/GSi.
System Maintenance
- Firmware upgrade procedure for enhancement, new features, and bug fix.
- If you see the abnormal LED status shown on GS hardware or events on EonOne, how to identify
the conditions and troubleshoot.
- Components maintenance including drive, pool, volume, and Expansion Enclosure, including
monitoring and troubleshooting guide.
- Hardware components replacement: Drives, PSU, FAN, controller, DIMM, Host Board, and CBM.
Operation
- The network setup procedure for File-level port, Block-level port, and Management Network. An
additional configuration like Trunk group, SMB multichannel, Frame size will be introduced here.
- Management procedure for volume, folder, users, and groups.

1-1. Firmware Update
1. Please go to Infortrend Official Website > Product Service, register your product and go to firmware
download page to download the new firmware.
2. When performing the firmware update, please go to EonOne’s Settings > Update & security >
Firmware update. Click Browse to upload the firmware file. It will take around 30 mins to finish the
update process.
IMPORTANT! Node by node update function is not supported, please stop all I/O operations before the
update!
