1 Fit the two halves of the external
fuel tank pylon (P215 and P216)
together, as shown. Secure them
with an FP screw.
Assembly
2 Insert the assembled pylon into the recess at the front of the
external fuel tank upper (P214) and secure from the inside with
an FP screw.

Installing the wiring

3 Now take out the wall covering the port mainwheel
by removing the screws indicated.
5 Then take out the starboard mainwheel wall by
removing the screws indicated.
7 Pass electrical wires X018 through the central
section of the frame, as shown. Make sure ends
A and B are in the correct positions.
4 Remove the port mainwheel from the frame by
loosening the screws in the order shown.
6 Loosen the screws in the order shown to remove the
starboard mainwheel.
8 Then install wires X019, as shown. Pay attention to
the location of ends C and D.

9 Lay electrical wire C (X019) into the cutout at the
side of the frame, and place the port mainwheel
back into position.
11 Lay the electrical wire D (X019) into the cutout
in the side of the frame and place the starboard
mainwheel back into position.
13 Put the port mainwheel wall back in place and
secure with the two CM screws.
10 Fix the port mainwheel back in place with the
two MM and two FP screws.
12 Fix the starboard mainwheel back in place with
the two MM and two FP screws.
14 Fix the starboard mainwheel wall back in position
with the two CM screws.

Stage 77: Fuselage assembly

1. P217 - External fuel tank lower
2. P218 - External fuel tank end
HP, MP, BM, DM and CM screws
1 Retrieve the external fuel
tank assembly from Stage
76. Fix the external fuel
tank end (P218) into the
end of the fuel tank with
an HP screw.
Assembly
2 Install the
assembled port
engine onto the
upper fuselage.
Fix in place on
the outside with
a BM screw.
3 Fit the assembled
starboard engine
onto the upper
fuselage, and fix
in place with a
BM screw.

4 Carefully align
the upper and
lower halves of
the fuselage.
Pass the wiring
(X018 and X019)
through the hole
in the lower
fuselage, as
shown.
5 Connect the ends of the port landing light wiring.
7 Connect the starboard landing light wiring and hide
the wires in the same way.
6 Then hide the wires as shown.
8 Begin securing the fuselage halves together, starting
at the nose. Tighten two DM screws into the
indicated holes.

9 Then tighten a further four DM
screws in the indicated locations
in the lower fuselage.
11 Tighten another six DM screws
into the indicated holes.
13 Pass the two wires in the centre of the fuselage through
the hole in the external fuel tank upper (P214).
10 Tighten two more DM screws
into the lower fuselage.
12 Tighten two MP screws into the locations
shown above.
14 Tighten a CM screw into the indicated hole on the
outside of the port engine. 15 Then tighten a CM screw into the matching hole
on the outside of the starboard engine.

Stage 78: Battery box
Your parts
1. P219 - Battery box cover
2. P220 - Battery box
VM and KR screws
1 Retrieve the fuselage
assembly and the external
fuel tank lower (P217). Secure
the external fuel tank upper
to the lower fuselage with a
BM screw.
2 Connect the wiring from
the battery box (P220) to
the wires in the fuel tank.

3 Carefully place the wires
inside the external fuel tank,
as shown.
4 Position the battery box
in the fuel tank and secure
to the posts with two
KP screws.
5 Fix the battery box switch
to the posts behind the box
with two KP screws.
7 Push the battery box cover
(P219) into position, closing
the battery box.
6 Mount the external fuel
tank lower (P217) over the
battery box, and secure to
the fuel tank upper with
three KP screws. Make
sure no wires get trapped
between the two halves.

Stage 79: Port tail fin
Your parts
1. P221 - Port tail fin outer half
2. Р222 - Actuator fairing
3. Р223 - Pitot tubes (2 pcs.)
LP and NP screws
1 Insert the pitot tube (P223)
into the hole in the port tail
fin outer half (P221).
2 Secure the pitot tube from
inside the fin half with an
LP screw.

3 Then insert the second
pitot tube (P223) into the
hole below the first.
5 Place the actuator fairing (P222) into the hole in the
rear edge of the tail fin half.
4 Secure the second
pitot tube with an LP
screw as before.
6 Secure the fairing from inside the fin half with an
NP screw.
