Headset charging
It is recommended to fully charge the headset before first use.
When the charge cable is connected the ear cup LED will indicate the status.

Headset power button
The power button has multiple functions.
To power on the headset, hold down the power button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
To power off the headset, hold down the power button for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
With the headset powered on short press the power button to cycle through the ear cup LED
modes. The supported LED modes are solid (default), breathing and off.

Headset connection (PC)
To use the headset wirelessly on your PC:
1. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on your PC. The wireless adapter status light will blink,
indicating it is waiting for connection.
2. Press the power button on the headset for 3 seconds to power on.
3. When the wireless adapter status light is solid and the headset ear cup LED is solid, the headset is
connected.
Note: If it is your first time using the headset you may need to set the headset as the default input and
output device.

If it is your first time using the headset you may need to set the headset as the default input
and output device.
1. Right-click the speaker icon in the
task tray and select Playback
Devices’.
2. Right-click on Cloud Flight
Wireless Headset and select Set
as Default Device’.

3. Click on the Recordingtab, then
right-click ‘Cloud Flight Wireless
Headsetand select Set as
Default Device’.
The Cloud Flight Wireless Headset is
now ready to use.

To use the headset wirelessly with PlayStation
4 (PS4
)
1. Turn on your PS4
game console
2. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on your PS4
. The wireless adapter status light will
blink, indicating it is waiting for connection.
3. Press the power button on the headset for 3 seconds to power on.
4. When the wireless adapter status light is solid and the headset ear cup LED is solid, the headset is
connected.
Connecting to PS4
Once the ‘Cloud Flight Wireless Headset’ device is detected configure the PS4™ Audio
Devices using the steps below:
1. Navigate to the Settings Menu and select it.
2. Highlight the ‘Devices’ menu option and select it.
3. Scroll down to Audio Devices’ and select it.
4. Set ‘Input Device’ to HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Headset.
5. Set Output Device’ to HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Headset.
6. Choose Output to Headphones’ and select ‘All Audio.’

The headset will emit beep tones to indicate status for power, microphone mute, volume and
remaining battery charge.

Headset ear cup LED mode
The power button on the ear cup is used to change the ear cup LED mode.
With the headset powered on short press the power button to cycle through the ear cup LED
modes. The supported LED modes are solid (default), breathing and LED off.

Headset pairing
The headset and USB wireless adapter comes paired and ready to use from the factory. If the
headset loses pairing it can be re-paired manually using the steps below (It is recommended to
contact technical support prior to re-pairing to determine if this is necessary)
1. Turn off the headset.
2. Long press the power button for 10 seconds to enter the pairing mode.
3. The headset ear cup LED will be fast blinking.
4. Plug the USB wireless adapter to a PC.
5. Use a small pin to press the small button on the back side of the USB wireless adapter.
6. The USB wireless adapter LED will be fast blinking.
7. When the LED on the USB wireless adapter and the headset ear cup is solid, pairing is
completed.

Headset connection (wired)
The headset can be used as a wired headphone with the included 3.5mm audio cable. To use
the headset in wired headphone mode:
1. Connect the 3.5mm headphone cable to the headphone port on the headset
2. Plug the 3.5mm headphone cable into your device
Note: The microphone and volume wheel are not functional in this configuration.
