Morris MTFH-16401 is a PTC fan heater suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use. INTRODUCTION
Before using your new heater, please carefully read through
the following instructions.
KEEP THIS BOOKLET IN A SAFE PLACE SO THAT YOU
MAY CONSULT IT LATER.
After removing the packaging, make sure that the appliance
is in good condition.
The packaging materials may contain plastic, nails etc.,
which may be hazardous and therefore should not be left
within the reach of children.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Installation MUST be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Avoid installation behind a door.
Use only the voltage specified on the rating plate of the heater.
Do not cover or restrict airflow to the inlet or exhaust grilles in any manner as the
appliance may overheat and become a fire risk (for Fan Heaters).
Do not cover grilles, block entry or exhaust of airflow by
placing appliance against any surface. Keep all objects at
least 1 meter from the front and sides of the appliance. With
exception of appliances designed for wall-mounting,
maintain a 1-meter gap from the rear of the unit as well.

Do not place appliance close to a radiant heat source.
Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint or other
flammable liquids are used or stored.
This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not
let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Switch off and use handles
where provided when moving.
Do not use the appliance to dry clothes.
Do not leave the appliance unattended whilst in use.
Do not insert or allow foreign objects enter any ventilation or
exhaust opening, as this may cause an electric shock, fire
or damage to the appliance.
Do not immerse in liquid or allow liquid to run into the
interior of the appliance, as this could create an electrical
shock hazard.
Do not use this appliance on a wet surface, or where it can
fall or be pushed into water.
Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water.
Switch off at supply and unplug immediately.
Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord, plug or
after the appliance malfunction or has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Return to a qualified electrical
person for examination, electrical or mechanical
adjustment, service, or repair before further use.
Do not operate appliance with wet hands.
This appliance is intended for household use only and not
for commercial or industrial use.

Switch off the appliance, then use handles (where provided)
to change its position.
Do not operate with the cord coiled up as this could cause a
buildup of heat, which could pose a hazard.
The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not
recommended.
Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling
the cord grip the plug instead.
Always unplug appliance when not in use.
Do not allow cord to get close to heated surfaces during
operation.
Do not run cord under carpeting, throw rugs or runners etc.
Arrange cord away from areas where it is likely to be
tripped over.
Always operate on a flat horizontal surface.
Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any
other use is not recommended by the manufacturer and
may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff
in the appliance. Ensure these deposits are removed
regularly by unplugging the appliance and vacuum-cleaning
air vents and grilles, where available.
Do not use this appliance in a window as rain may cause
electric shock.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance.
Clean with a damp cloth (not wet) rinsed in hot soapy water
only. Always remove plug from the mains supply before
cleaning.
Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as
this may cause the insulation to weaken and split. Always
ensure that the cord has been fully removed from any cord
storage area before use.
Do not store appliance in a box or closed space until it has
cooled down sufficiently.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the appliance.
The appliance must not be located immediately below a
socket-outlet.
Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer or any
other device that switches the heater on automatically,
since a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or
positioned incorrectly.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified electrical person in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use this appliance outdoors, or on wet surfaces.
Avoid spilling liquid on the appliance.
In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of
the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching device, such as a timer, or
connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off
by the utility.

This appliance is
not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry
or similar locations which may be exposed to water, moisture or humidity.
Do not
connect the appliance to the mains source until it
has been installed in its final location and adjusted to the
position it will be used in.

How to use
[Starting up]
Turn power switch to “I” marked position, then press on-off key on the control panel to start up the machine. After starting
up, the machine runs on the mode of last power off.
Key Function Description
On-off key
On the idle mode, press on-off key to enter the power-on mode, the warmer starts working and
the whole machine runs under the previous remembered mode and temperature. On the
power-on mode, press on-off key to enter the idle mode, the warmer stops working. (Note: On
the heating mode, draught fan will operate for 15 seconds at low wind speed after power off.)
Mode key
After power-on, the warmer is in the intelligent mode by default. Repeatedly press the “mode
key”, the warmer shifts in circular order among “intelligent mode, low warm wind, high warm
wind, strong warm wind, breeze, and gentle breeze”.
(+) / (-) key
On the working state, press “+” or “-” keys to set the working temperature. The temperature
setting range is 5~35 and every temperature value is of 1 difference. The machine
confirms and displays the set temperature value if no key is pressed within 3 seconds after the
setting. After room temperature reaches the set temperature, display screen blinks for 10
seconds and heating unit stops working. When room temperature is below the set temperature,
machine restarts to heat. Ιn warm wind modes (low/high/strong), when setting temperature is
higher than 35 or lower than 5 the panel will display “--” and the machine will
continuously working at “without temp. control” mode, no matter which the current room
temperature is.
Timing key
In power-on mode, press this key to set timing power-off function. The display flashes the
remaining time which was set last time. The power-off timer can be set by pressing the "+" and
"-" buttons. The setting range is 0 to 24 hours. If there is no operation after 5 seconds, the
machine confirms the set time and start counting down. If the set time is 0, it means cancel the
timing power-off function. If the set time is not 0, when the set time is reached, the machine
will automatically shut down and enter standby mode.
In standby mode, press this key to set timing power-on, same operation as timing shutdown.
The unit of timer setting is hours.

[Light screen off function]
When the machine is on the working state, the screen automatically lights off and operating mode icon retains up if
without operation within 1 minute. Press at the same time the key and “-” key for 2 seconds to close the light screen
off function. Press again at the same time the key and “-” key for 2 seconds to open the light screen off function.
[Temperature sensor short circuit and open circuit protection]
In whatever mode, when short circuit or open circuit protection occurs to the temperature sensor, digital screen displays
E1 or E2 and blinks unceasingly, any key does not work, and buzzer rings for 10 times.
[Safety protection]
In the power-on mode, when room temperature exceeds 50, the system closes all outputs, the digital screen displays
“FF” and blinks at the frequency of 1 time per second, any key does not work, and only power-off can quit protection.
[Tip over protection function]
No matter in power-on or power-off mode, when the machine tip over, the system immediately shuts down all
heating components and displays “E3”, any key does not work.
[Close key fancy light and buzzer]
In the power-on mode, press at the same time the ''timing'' key and ''mode'' key for 2 seconds to close key fancy light
and buzzer output. Repeat this action to open them.
[Children lock function]
No matter in power-on or power-off mode, press “+” and “-” keys simultaneously for the first time for 2 seconds to
activate the children lock function. Repeat this action to de-activate it.
[Automatic power-off function]
Screen displays “--” if the heater is not under Temperature Control mode. When the timer function is off, the heater will
automatically shut off with no operation during 12 hours.
[Remote-control unit]
The use of remote-control unit: Key function is consistent with machine body control panel. Note: Strong warm wind
mode can be opened by pressing key on remote-control unit.
[Intelligent mode]
In the Intelligent mode, press “+” and “-” keys to set wanted temperature. When environment temperature is lower than
set temperature (by more than 2), the product heats in high warm wind mode; when environment temperature is close
to the set temperature (by less than 2 or more), the product heats on low warm wind mode; when environment
temperature is higher than set temperature, the product stops heating.

Troubleshooting
If the product does not operate or does not operate properly, first check according to the following list.
If the reason the product does not operate or does not operate properly is not included in the following list, the product
may have a problem.
At this time, it is recommended to send the product to the dealer for repair.

be used as insulation device for storage environment, items, animals and plants.
Maintenance and cleaning
- Warning: Never use detergent, chemical damage plastic parts.
- Warning: Let the appliance cool down completely before handling or cleaning:
To prevent risk of fire or electrocution inside the appliance.
Clean the outer surface of the appliance by rubbing it gently with soft, damp cloth, either with or
without soap.
Regularly clean the air inlet and outlet vents of the fan.
