Thank you for purchasing the Ivation® Fan Heater. This User Guide is intended to provide you with
guidelines to ensure that operation of this product is safe and does not pose risk to the user. Any use
that does not conform to the guidelines described in this User Guide may void the limited warranty.
Please read all directions before using the product and retain this guide for reference. This product is
intended for household use only.
This product is covered by a limited one-year warranty. Coverage is subject to limits and exclusions.

Safety Precautions
WARNING: This heater should NEVER be covered by or positioned close to curtains or
other combustible materials, as it presents an immediate fire hazard and could cause serious
injury, property destruction, and/or death.
• Packaging materials may contain plastic or other materials which may be hazardous. Please
remove and dispose of all packaging materials promptly, making sure to keep them out
of the reach of children.
• Do not position this appliance behind a door.
• Use only the voltage specified on the rating label of the heater.
• Do not cover or restrict the airflow to the inlet or exhaust grilles in any way,
or else the heater could overheat and become a fire hazard.
• Do not cover the grilles or block the entry or exhaust of the airflow by placing the
heater against any surfaces. Keep all objects at least 3.3" (1m) from the front, sides,
and rear of the heater.
• Do not place this appliance close to a radiator, or any other type of radiant heat source.
• Do not operate this appliance in areas where gasoline, paint, or other flammable liquids
are used or stored.
• This appliance heats up when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch the
hot surfaces while in use. Switch the heater o and use the provided handle when moving it.
• Do not use this appliance to dry clothes.
• Do not leave this appliance unattended while in use.
• Do not insert or allow any foreign objects to enter any of the ventilation or exhaust
openings on this device, as it may cause electric shock, fire, or product damage.
• Do not immerse in any type of liquid, or allow any liquid to run into the interior of
this appliance, as this could create an electrical shock hazard.
• Do not use this appliance on a wet surface, or where it can fall or be pushed into water.
• Never reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it from the power
supply immediately.
• Never operate an appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Always check the cord and plug
for signs of damage or wear and tear before connecting them to a power supply or outlet.
• Never operate an appliance after it has malfunctioned, or after it has been dropped/damaged
in any manner. Should this occur, you should take it to a qualified electrician for examination,
or electrical/mechanical adjustment, service, or repair before further use.
• Do not operate this appliance with wet hands.
• This appliance is intended for household use only, and not for commercial or industrial use.
• Use this appliance only as described within this manual. Any other use is not recommended
by the manufacturer or distributor, and may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
• A common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or flu in the appliance. Ensure these
deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the appliance and vacuum-cleaning air vents
and grilles where available.
• Do not use this appliance in a window, as rain may cause electric shock.
• Never use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance. Always clean with a cloth that is damp,
not wet, with hot, soapy water only, and ensure device has been completely disconnected from the
power supply before cleaning.
• Do not plug the device into the power supply until it has been situated in its final location and
adjusted to the position in which it will be used.
• This appliance is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry rooms, or similar locations in which it
might be exposed to water, moisture, or condensation from excessive humidity.
• Always operate this device on a flat, solid, and horizontal surface.
• When changing the position of this device, make sure to first unplug it, and then use the provided
handles to situate it in its new location. Once settled, then you may plug it back in and
operate it as normal.
• Do not operate this device with the cord coiled or rolled up, as this can cause heat to build up and
present a fire hazard.
• The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not recommended.
• Do not remove the power plug from the socket by pulling the cord, but rather grip it by the plug and
emove it that way.
• Always unplug this appliance when not in use.
• Do not allow the power cord to come in contact with heated surfaces during operation.
• When plugging the device in and setting it up, do not run the power cord under carpeting, throw
rugs, runners, etc. Arrange the power cord so that it is out of the way and away from areas where it
could trip someone or be pulled.
• Do not twist, kink, or wrap the power cord around the heater, as this could cause the insulation to
weaken and split. Always ensure that the power cord has been fully removed from any cord storage
area before use.
• Do not store this appliance in a box or closed space until it has cooled down suciently.
• This appliance should not be used by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised at all times,
and/or have received extensive instruction and training on how to use this device by a person
responsible for their safety.
• Young children should always be supervised around this appliance to ensure that they do
not play with it.
• This appliance must not be placed immediately below a socket outlet, as the heat it gives o could
start an electrical fire, or create other hazardous conditions.
• Do not use this appliance with a programmer, timer, or any other device that switches the heater
on automatically, as a fire risk exists if the appliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.
• If the power cord is damaged, you should have it replaced by a qualified electrician in order
to avoid a fire hazard.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors or on wet surfaces. Avoid spilling liquid on it at all times.
• In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance
must not have its power supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or
be connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.
• For additional protection, the use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a tripping current
not exceeding 30mA is recommended.

Getting Started
Before plugging the device into an electrical outlet, please be sure to verify that the voltage
output of your power supply matches the rating label.
Understanding the Power and Heat Settings

Using the Fan Heater
1. Turn the fan/power control dial to your desired power setting.
a. If you’d like the fan to operate without producing any heat, turn the dial to the symbol.
b. If you’d like the heater to operate with low power, turn it to the number 1.
c. If you’d like the heater to operate with high power, turn it to the number 2.
2. Set the thermostat to max and let the device run until the room reaches the desired temperature.
Then, slowly turn the thermostat counterclockwise (toward the word “MIN”) until you hear the
heater switch o. There will be an audible “click”.
3. This sets the temperature for the heater to maintain, and once set, it will turn itself on and
o automatically in order to maintain the room temperature you’ve selected.
4. Please note that the appliance will not switch itself back on again until the room temperature
drops below the temperature of the thermostat setting.
Using Oscillation
On the rear of the heater, underneath the handle, you will find a red switch to activate/deactivate the
fan’s oscillation feature. Flip the switch and the fan will begin to slowly oscillate back and forth to
distribute heat around the room.
Protection Features
Your ceramic fan heater comes equipped with some built-in safety protection features as
detailed below:
Tip-Over Protection: The heater is protected with a safety switch that turns the appliance o
automatically if a situation arises where it tips over or tilts too much to a certain degree. This helps
to prevent accidents and fire hazards, and the heater will automatically resume operation once it is
restored to an upright position.
Overheat Protection: The heater is designed to protect itself by switching o the heat automatically
if it starts to sense overheating, e.g., due to total or partial obstruction of the air vents.
a. If the overheat protection kicks in, wait for the appliance to cool down and then remove all
obstructions from the vents, or reposition the heater in such a way as to prevent obstruction.
The thermal cutout will automatically reset itself at this time, and it will resume
heating as normal.
b. If the heater does not resume after removing obstructions/cleaning air vents/repositioning
the heater, contact customer service immediately.
Care and Maintenance
• Before any cleaning or device maintenance, make sure to fully disconnect it from the power supply
and wait for it to cool completely.
• For cleaning the heater, we recommend using a soft, moist cloth and a neutral detergent.
Do not use an abrasive cloth or any devices which might aect the appearance of the appliance.
• Make sure that the air vents in the front and the ventilation/air filter in the rear of the heater are
free from dust and dirt. During cleaning, take care not to touch the heating elements of the device.
• In case of a breakdown and/or device malfunction, fully disconnect the heater from the power
supply and contact customer service or an authorized repairperson immediately.
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste. Make sure to use your
area’s designated collection facilities. Contact your local authorities or waste disposal
services for information regarding proper disposal of electrical appliances. If electrical
appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into
the groundwater
