Der Flughafen
Venedig gehört historisch gesehen sicherlich zu den bekanntesten
Städten der Welt. Die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt, sei
es der Canal Grande, die Rialtobrücke, der Markusplatz oder der
Dogenpalast sind weltberühmt und ziehen jährlich Millionen von
Touristen an. Der Flugplatz Venedig-Lido ist der ideale Startpunkt für
eine Entdeckungsreise über Venedig.
Der noch im Stil des einstigen Verkehrsflughafens restaurierte
Flugplatz wurde für den Microsoft Flight Simulator so realistisch wie
nur möglich nachgebaut. Viele verschiede 3D-Objekte und -Effekte
erwarten Sie auf dem Flugplatz Gelände, so wurden alle Gebäude
nachgebaut und mit PBR Effekten versehen.
Individuelle Animation wie beispielsweise wetterabhängige 3D-Men-
schen oder animierte Sonnenblenden im Tower zusammen mit
zufälligen, statischen Flugzeugen, lassen den Flugplatz lebendig
wirken. Durch eine Leistungsoptimierung basierend auf Spezifikati-
onen von Microsoft, ist die Ablaufgeschwindigkeit trotz vieler Objekte
und photogrammetrischer Stadt ausgezeichnet.

Wir werden des Öfteren gefragt, warum sieht die Szenerie auf den
Screenshots anders aus als bei mir? Da stehen ja Menschen rum aber
nicht bei mir.
Dieses könnte an Ihren aktuellen Einstellungen liegen. Die Szenerie ist
so aufgebaut, dass einige Objekte, wie zum Beispiel die Personen
oder die statischen Flugzeuge anhand von bestimmten Kriterien
angezeigt werden. Sei es zum Beispiel die Tag- und /oder die Jahres-
zeit und/oder sogar das Wetter kann eine Rolle spielen.

The Airport
Historically, Venice is certainly one of the most famous cities in the
world. The numerous sights of the city, be it the Grand Canal, the
Rialto Bridge, St. Mark‘s Square or the Doge‘s Palace are world
famous and attract millions of tourists every year. Venice Lido Airport
is the ideal starting point for an expedition over Venice.
The airfield, still restored in the style of the former commercial airport,
has been recreated as realistically as possible for the Microsoft Flight
Simulator. Many different 3D objects and effects await you on the
airfield grounds, so all buildings have been recreated and provided
with PBR effects.
Individual animations such as weather-dependent 3D people or
animated sun shades in the tower together with random static aircraft
make the airfield look alive. Through a performance optimization
based on specifications from Microsoft, the runtime speed is excellent
despite many objects and photogrammetric city.

We are often asked, why does the scenery look different on the
screenshots than mine? People are standing around but not with me.
This could be due to your current settings. The scenery is set up in
such a way that some objects, such as people or static aircraft, are
displayed based on certain criteria. For example, the time of day and/
or the season and/or even the weather can play a role.
