Installation Notice
SGDL is a high technology product, please read this Instruction carefully before installation, and
also install this SGDL strictly according to this Instruction. ZKS don’t take any responsibility because of
wrong installation.
Installation Environment
1. Please keep the SGDL away from magnetic objects or magnetic fields
2. Please don’t use the sharp objects to scratch or hard objects to hit this SGDL.
3. Please keep the products stable.
4. Please keep the SGDL away from dust, water and fire.
5. If the mechanical malfunction happens, please don’t dismantle and repair this SGDL by yourself.
6. Please avoid installation the SGDL direct to the sunlight or high temperature places (as picture)
Door Requirement
1. The SGDL is suitable to install at glass door with door thickness 12mm-14mm.
2. The gap between double doors should be 3mm-10mm.

3. We suggest you to install the SGDL 1.3-1.5meters from the ground.
4. Don’t install this SGDL on the glass door with frame.
5. The SGDL have right hand and left hand, please select the right lock for your glass door.
6. When you install this SGDL to the single door, please notice the depth of the hole should be
deeper than 30mm, the diameter of the hole should be more than 12mm.
Lock Type
There have 3 kinds of glass door locks: double door with right hand, single door with right hand,
single door with left hand.
Please look at the following picture, the first left one is double door with right hand, the middle
one is single door with right hand, the left one is single door with left hand.
Installation Tools

SGDL Introduction
Now let’s introduce this SGDL structure and its components

Preparations
1. Open the package, and take the main body out.
2. Remove the plastic cover, and take the screwdriver and the SGDL main part.
3. Sliding the battery cover, and use screwdriver to remove 3 PCS screws same as picture, then takes
the main back plate out.

4．Use screwdriver to remove 2 screws on the SGDL side part same as picture, then take 3 screws as
picture b, then take the side back plate out. (Double door)

Installation Steps 1 (Double Door)
1． Fix the installation position for the SGDL (suggest 1.3m-1.5m distance from the ground).
2. Paste main back plate board.
Tear off the red plastic-sheet, then paste back plate board on the glass door inside, and make
2 L types aline with glass door side.
3. Fix the side back plate board position.
Please tear off the black dotted line on the installation orientation chart, then pastes this
chart on the main back plate board.
4.Paste side back plate board
Remove the red film on the side back plate board, then fix the position of side back plate
board according this the orientation chart, then make 2 PCS L types crosses paste the glass door
along with door edge.
5.Double Door Main Part
Please tear off the red glue film on the side of the door, such as above picture, then make the
screw hole integrate with back plate screw hole, then use 3*10mm screw to fix it.

Please make the SGDL main part to clamp the glass door along with door edge until the main
part can aline glass door edge.
6. Install Side Part
Please use the same method to install side back plate board, after installation, please tear off
the red film on the side of the door, then use 3 PCS 3*6mm screws to fix, such as above picture,
then use side back shell to join it, and use 2.5*8mm screws to fix.
7. Finish Installation
Install the battery to the main part, then put the battery cover on it.

Installation Steps 2（Single Door）
1．Fix the main part position, then tear off the red film at the back of main back plate board, and
paste it on the glass door to make 2 PCS L crosses paste on the glass door edge.
2. Install single door main part
The installation steps are the same as steps 5 of double glass door (Main part), please read it
carefully.
3. Fix the outside door mechanism at the door frame and the hole position.
Tear out the red dotted line part from the orientation chart, such as the picture, then fold to 90
degree along with blue dotted line, then hang the orientation chart on the main part when the door
is closed, and confirm the outside door mechanism position.

After fix it, please open the door, and draw the outside door mechanism shape on the door
frame. Remove the orientation chart, and put the torn chart and red dotted line parts on the
outside door mechanism shape, and fix the lock hole and screw holes position.
4. Fix the outside door mechanism
Please use electronic drill to make a hole according to the hole position, then use screws to fix
the door mechanism.
Notice
1. Due to different glass door types, after we install double glass door main part, the side part should
be installed at the appropriate position according to the main part.
2. When you install single glass door, you should make sure the lock installation height. After fixing this,
please make the single door installation orientation chart fold to 90 degree and put on the SGDL
main part, then use the pencil to draw the holes position.
3. When you past installation orientation chart, please keep the chart in vertical position, otherwise

this may cause the lock tongue not to stretch.
4. When make a hole on the door frame, you should measure the holes distance from door frame
according to the lock distance from door frame and lock tongue length.
5. When you paste the back plate board, please fix the lock installation position at first, then tear out
the red glue film, otherwise it is hard for you to uncover if the back glue film is pasted.
6. We suggest you to install 4 cells of AA batteries after finish installation, if you didn’t register the
fingerprint and can’t open the door at outside, you can use any finger to open the door, so please
register your fingerprint in time after installation.
