Amendment to the Instruction Manual of the
Reflex Array Sensors WL27-3P3402S17
The Reflex Array bracket must allow
both height and rotational adjustment so
the 24mm light array to be located
parallel to a conveyor belt (just above)
and perpendicular to the direction of
travel.
Align the 24mm light array to the reflector.
Precision alignment of the light array:
Fold a white paper, DIN A4, twice into
quarters.
Check to ensure that the entire 24 mm
light array is visible on both near and far
edge of a conveyor belt. The light array
must also be adjusted parallel to the top
of a conveyor belt without gap.
Please note that tightening of sensor and
bracket fixturing screws could affect
alignment.
Confirm alignment:
Turn the conveyor belt ON and check
that the sensor does not change state
when no product is present.
Turn the conveyor belt ON. Place
product on the near and far edges and
in the middle of the conveyor belt and
check for reliable detection.
Alignment is complete if reliable
detection occurs after Step 5a and 5b
otherwise repeat from step 3

Press Teach button until the yellow LED
indicator switches off and illuminates again
(approximately 2 seconds).
