for the installation of bin top adapter, KBT32

The KBT32 adapter is designed to allow placement of a CME686 or CME810 or an

EH222 on a standard 30” wide Scotsman ice storage bin or a Scotsman motel ice

dispenser, model HD30.

If placing this bin top on a bin, use the flat ice machine mounting brackets.

•

If placing this bin top on an HD30, use the mounting brackets with the offset bends

in them. The KTB32 does not fit flush to the back of the HD30, and offset brackets

are needed to fasten the parts together.

1. Select the correct ice machine mounting bracket.

2. Place the adapter on the bin. Be sure gasket tape is in good condition. Repair with

food grade RTV sealant or new gasket tape.

3. Place CME686 or CME810 or EH222 on adapter.

4. Secure ice machine and adapter to bin or dispenser with two brackets and the

hardware from the KBT32 kit.
