Davis Instruments New Anemometer Design

The Davis Instruments New Anemometer Design is a significant improvement over the previous model, offering a wider operating range, greater durability, and the same accurate data that Davis weather stations are known for. With an operating range of less than 1 mph to over 220 mph, this anemometer can measure wind speeds in a variety of conditions, from gentle breezes to hurricanes. It is also more durable than the previous model, making it ideal for use in harsh environments.

This anemometer is easy to install and use. Simply attach the wind cups to the stainless steel shaft and tighten the set screw with the included Allen wrench. The anemometer can then be mounted on a pole or other structure using the included mounting hardware.

IMPROVED ANEMOMETER
Your Vantage Pro2 Integrated Sensor Suite includes an improved
anemometer. It now has a greater operating range of wind speeds, from
less than 1 mph to over 220 mph (1 - 173 kts; 0.5 - 89 m/s; 1 - 322 kph).
It will provide even greater durability in the eld, and provide the same
accurate data Davis weather stations are known for.
The new anemometer control head looks dierent from the old one. To
avoid confusion, please refer to these instructions and illustrations,
