1. Introduction

Manufactured to the highest standards, these enclosures offer weatherproof protection to IP66 of

BS EN.60529 and are supplied with an adjustable bracket.

Camera fitment

1. Type 2010 - Unscrew 3 captive cover fixing screws (C) and remove the enclosure cover (A)

from the base (B).

Type 2015 - Unscrew 4 cover fixing screws (C) and remove the enclosure cover (A) from the

base (B).

2. Release the keyhole screws (D) and slide and withdraw the camera platform (E) from the base.

3. Mount camera (F) onto platform using the 1/4”UNC fixing (I) supplied as shown, ensuring the

fixing insulation bush (J) is between the camera fixing and the platform and the camera

insulation pad (G) is mounted between the platform and the camera. These items isolate the

camera from the surrounding metal work.

4. Finally, wire camera to rear terminal block using circuit diagram for terminal designations.

Enclosure mounting

1. Use bracket arm (E) as a template for marking the position of mounting holes. Remove & drill to

pattern required.

2. Attach bracket arm to wall using rawl plugs and screws provided. ( Assuming masonary wall )

3. Feed cables through bracket exiting down (C) or through (A) wall, via conduit, as req’d. (fig 2)

4. Release screw F to pan housing and screw H for tilt. Position as required for camera coverage

& tighten to secure.

5. An optional Infra red lamp (880/883) may be mounted under the housing.

3. Wiring Diagram - Type 2010

Fig.3 shows the internal wiring diagram for the window demister. A spare 6 way terminal block is

provided at the rear of the enclosure for camera and lens connections. Circuit idents as follows:

TB.1 6 way terminal block PTC Heater 6W (12V-24Va.c.)

FTB.1 Fused terminal block Heater 6W (110V-230Va.c.)

FS.1 3 Amp. Fuse

Fig.4 shows the internal wiring diagram for the window demister. A 12 way terminal block is

provided at the rear of the enclosure for camera and lens connections. Circuit idents as follows:

Heater 6W (110V-230Va.c.)
