ARCHITECT NOTE:
ELECTRIC WINCH MAY BE LOCATED ABOVE OR BELOW PULLEY LOCATION, WITH A MINIMUM OF 3'-0" CABLE TRAVEL TO
ENSURE PROPER CABLE WRAP ON WINCH DRUM. WINCH MAY ALSO BE MOUNTED TO OVERHEAD STRUCTURE (MUST BE
INDICATED ON FIELD CHECK).
WHEN LOCATING ELECTRIC WINCH ON WALL, CHECK TO ENSURE WINCH WILL NOT INERFERE WITH THE MODEL 219 CROSS
FLATS ON BACKSTOP WHEN BACKSTOP IS FOLDED UP.
LOCATE CENTER OF WINCH DRUM AT LEAST 12'-0" ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION.
CONFIRM WALL IS SUFFICIENTLY BRACEDAND REINFORCED TO SUPPORT OPERATING WINCH. DESIGN EACH ANCHORS
FOR AT LEAST 600 LBS SHEAR COMBINED WITH 210 LBS TENSION.
FOR MOUNTING TO CMU WALLS, ANCHOR TO WALL WITH AT LEAST (8) 1/2" DIA. MASONRY ANCHORS, IN FULLY GROUTED
CELLS. THERE SHOULD BE ONLY ONE ANCHOR PER CELL. REFER TO ANCHOR MANUFACTURER TO DETERMINE
ANCHORAGE DESIGN AND DETAILS. AS NECESSARY, CONSULT WITH STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO CONFIRM ANCHOR AND
WALL DESIGNS ARE ADEQUATE.
ELECTRICIAN NOTE:
MOUNT 4" SQUARE JUNCTION BOX WITHIN 3'-0" OF ELECTRIC WINCH FOR NEMA L14-20 4 POLE TWIST-LOCK RECEPTACLE.
